Upon speaking with her, dialogue options reveal that she was impressively inebriated at Teyrna Cousland's spring salon. If the Warden is male, she will also confess to shamelessly flirting with him at said event. If female, Dairren reluctantly admits that she attempted to be matchmaker for himself and the Warden at the salon. After the conversation, she goes to rest while Dairren and Iona retire to the study. After Rendon Howe's attack she is found slain in the guest quarters during the attack on Castle Cousland.

Later The Warden visits her husband, Bann Loren's Lands while searching for Elric Maraigne.

A letter found by the Inquisitor at Caer Oswin reveals that Bann Loren remains deeply affected by the loss of Landra and Dairren, having become increasingly reclusive over the years. In the letter Bann Alfstanna expresses concern over Loren's "strange new guards", noting that the last time she was there, Loren was pale, almost delirious and that she fears the worst as Loren has not been seen in the months since.
