Knight-Divine is the title granted to the heads of the Templar Order who serve the Divine directly, manage the day-to-day operations of the Templar Order, as well as establish rules that the rest of the Order follows.[1]

Background[]

The Templar Order itself is ruled from the White Spire in Val Royeaux by a Knight-Vigilant;[2] however, there are other sources that suggest that the Order is actually led by a series of Knights-Divine, a division within the Order who serve directly underneath the Divine herself and act as her enforcers and bodyguards (for example in the role of the Right Hand of the Divine).[1][3][4] Usually these men and women prefer to fade into the background, their positions granted as rewards for service.[3]
