Purchased at [[Armor Stand]] in [[Lowtown]] for 1{{g}} 68{{s}} 28{{b}} during Act 1.

*There is also an unobtainable version of the shield which actually bears the heraldry of [[Kirkwall]]. This version is equipped by the [[Kirkwall City Guard]]. This variant is also equipped by [[Orlesian royalty and nobility|Duke]] [[Prosper]]'s [[Chevalier]]s who are stationed at his [[Free Marches]] retreat, [[Chateau Haine]], which is situated in the [[Vimmark Mountains]] outside Kirkwall proper.

* This shield has the same appearance as the [[Fereldan Soldier's Shield]].
* Along with several other ''Dragon Age II'' shields, the game states that it is a round shield, however its actual appearance is not round at all.
