Introducing Tallis is a quest in the Mark of the Assassin DLC for Dragon Age II.
Acquisition
The quest is obtained after Hawke and their party takes down the Antivan Crows in Hightown.
Walkthrough
Along with Tallis, Hawke and their companions arrive at Duke Prosper's Chateau Haine. Depending on when you start the mission, there will be different reasons for Hawke being invited to the Chateau:
- Act 1: An invitation was sent to the Amells due to their nobility, but Duke Prosper had not been in faithful correspondence with the family for years, and therefore had not known that the Amells had lost their social prominence in Kirkwall.
- Act 2: An invitation was sent with a letter from Duke Prosper after he bought a ring that was found during Hawke's expedition to the Deep Roads.
- Act 3: Duke Prosper sat near Hawke during the dinner celebrating Hawke being named Champion.
Result
Hawke must participate in the wyvern hunt before infiltrating the Chateau.
Bugs
On occasion, Hawke's facial animation in the opening scene that introduces Tallis can become frozen, leading to Hawke's speech being audible but without any facial expression on his/her model.
