Into the Approach is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
An unusually high number of travelers have been reported moving into the Western Approach, a blighted region in western Orlais all but devoid of life.

Obtained upon reaching Skyhold at the end of the main quest In Your Heart Shall Burn. It serves as an introduction to a new area to explore: the Western Approach.

Complete the war table operation Investigate the Western Approach, which costs 8 Power, to complete the quest and unlock the new area.
