Notes[]

  • Companions may comment if they see a potential Inquisition camp area.
  • The Hissing Wastes has the most number of Inquisition camps that can be set up, with 7 camps in total.
  • Crestwood, the Fallow Mire, and the Forbidden Oasis each have the least number of Inquisition camps that can be set up, with 2 camps apiece.
  • Some camps have lootable chests nearby, such as the Forest Camp in the Hinterlands. Loot farming can be done with these chests.
  • The camps in Emprise du Lion (barring Sahrnia Camp, which is available by default) must be captured during the quest "Take Back the Lion." Emprise du Lion is the only wilderness area to have this feature. All other wilderness areas have a "Holding" quest (eg: the Hinterlands).
  • Animals and other enemies will not enter a camp, meaning that they can be used as invulnerable bases for ranged attacks. This is particularly true for the Hinterland camp near Hafter's Woods as it frequently spawns bears.
