Involvement

This section contains spoilers for:
Dragon Age: Origins.

Imrek has been attempting to enter Orzammar through the Frostback Mountain Pass for a week in order to demand the allegiance of the deshyrs to "King Loghain", as he calls the Teyrn. However, the city has been sealed to outsiders until the throne is settled.

When the Warden presents the Ancient Treaties, which bear the royal seal and thus can only be addressed by the Assembly, they are allowed entry. Imrek is incensed at this and demands "in the name of King Loghain" that the dwarven guards execute the Warden as a traitor and "stain on the honor of Ferelden".

The Warden can either intimidate Imrek into leaving (requires Improved Coercion), provoke him into a fight, or insist that Loghain is the traitor who killed King Cailan at Ostagar, which will lead to Imrek becoming hostile (this also happens if the Warden fails the intimidation check). The dwarven gatekeeper will express his graditute to the Warden for slaying Imrek and claim that he was bothering him for a week.

Imrek is a warrior with templar training. He is attended by two bodyguards: a two-handed warrior and a mage. All three are Lieutenant level. They can use the following abilities:
