Imrek is a messenger of Teyrn Loghain Mac Tir during the Fifth Blight.
Involvement
Imrek and his bodyguards have been attempting to enter Orzammar through the Frostback Mountain Pass for a week in order to demand the allegiance of the deshyrs to "King Loghain" as he calls the Teyrn. However the guards do not allow them since the entry to any outsider is prohibited until Orzammar has a new king.
However, when the Warden reaches the gates, shows the Grey Warden treaty which bears the royal seal, and is allowed entry, Imrek grows angry and demands the dwarven guards to execute the Grey Warden in the name of "King Loghain" as he considers the Warden a traitor to Ferelden.
The Warden can then intimidate him into leaving (requires Improved Coercion) or choose another option which will lead to a fight with him and his two bodyguards (this also happens if the Warden fails the intimidation check).
If he is fought the Warden will face Imrek and his two bodyguards. They are all Lieutenant level. Interestingly enough, Imrek has templar training, while his bodyguards are a two-handed warrior and a mage. They can use the following:
