Horses for the Inquisition is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Master Dennet will provide the Inquisition with the finest horses in Ferelden, but not until his farmers are guaranteed safe return to their lands.

Acquisition[edit | edit source]

While speaking with Horsemaster Dennet during the side quest Master of Horses, he will ask the Herald to help Elaina and Bron secure the area prior to meeting the Inquisition's request to secure horses. Both quest givers are located in at Redcliffe Farms.

Note: This quest does not actually appear in the Journal until the two prerequisite quests are completed for both Elaina and Bron.

Walkthrough[edit | edit source]

The prerequisite quests can be done in either order. Elaina can be found just outside Dennet's home and Bron can be found two huts down heading west.

  • Elaina will need assistance with clearing out some wolves.
  • Bron will ask for help with the farm's security.

Once both quests are completed, converse with Master Dennet to complete the quest. The option to recruit him as an Inquisition agent will become available during the conversation, either attempting to recruit him now or at a later time can be done with the following options (regardless of when or how Dennet is recruited no approval changes occur):

Rewards[edit | edit source]

Completing the quest yields:

  • 177 XP
  • Influence 80
  • Power 1

Recruiting Dennet as an agent for the Inquisition yields:

  • Influence 100
  • Power 1

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • If Dennet is recruited as an agent, he will not represent any of the advisors, but rather, will be listed under Inquisition. The Inquisition label does not affect or reduce any war table operation completion times.
