Holden is the faction merchant for the Grey Wardens. His store becomes available once The Siege of Weisshaupt has been completed, after which he replaces Adal as the faction merchant.
Involvement[]
Dragon Age: The Veilguard[]
Holden is a blacksmith for the Grey Wardens, initially residing in Weisshaupt Fortress with his daughter, Mila.
When darkspawn siege the fortress, Holden gets separated from Mila. Mila, with the help of Rook and company, manages to reunite with her father, who had sealed himself in the library with Wardens Antoine and Evka and the rest of Rook's companions.
Assuring Rook that the dragon trap will work, the groups separate, with Rook's team, Antoine, and Evka heading out into combat while Holden assists Rook's remaining companions in retrieving the fallen eluvian, which they all subsequently escape through after the confrontation with Ghilan'nain.
Afterwards, Holden and Mila can be found in the Hossberg Wetlands, with Holden serving as the Warden's new faction merchant. With his daughter taking orders from villagers and Wardens, Holden lends his skills to the people of Lavendel.

Note that not all will appear: some items are class-specific (for instance, warrior based weapons won't show up for rogues). Certain items were previously available from Adal. If the item was previously purchased from Adal, it will not appear again in Holden's inventory (excluding Pure Ore).
