Helms, short for Helmets, are armor pieces for the head in Dragon Age II. Different types include helmets, caps, cowls, hoods, and masks. Like other armor pieces, helmets are separated into Light, Medium, and Heavy categories, specifically designed for Mages, Rogues, and Warriors. All helmets in Dragon Age II are restricted to Hawke, as companions have their own unique armor. Hawke's equipped helmet can be hidden while maintaining its stat bonuses by changing the option under Options>Interface.
