The Hand of Korth is an Avvar warrior who plots and successfully kidnaps several Inquisition soldiers in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Background[]
The Hand of Korth is the son of Movran the Under, the chieftain of his tribe. Movran sent his son to kill the enemies of the tribe, but the Hand of Korth decided to change the mission and confront the Inquisition instead.
Involvement[]
Quests[]
- Rescue Soldiers Missing in Ferelden (war table)
- Lost Souls
Strategy[]
A useful strategy to avoid dealing with the mobs, if playing on Nightmare difficulty or with the Rub Some Dirt on It trial active, is to stand outside the entrance and pull the Hand of Korth out with a mage or an archer. Ranged attacks are effectively infinite in range, so stand as far back as possible while still being able to target in non-tactics mode. This will allow for a large number of shots before the Hand's pathfinding figures out how to get to the party. The confrontation can be simplified by using the following method: freezing the Hand of Korth with a mage and then using a dagger-wielding rogue to attack him (assuming that the player is at the boss' level or higher).
Trivia[]
- The Hand of Korth is named after Korth the Mountain-Father.
