Dragon Age: Origins.

The Warden will meet Gwiddon in the Proving Grounds if he is siding with Harrowmont and doing A Lord's Trust: The First Task. Dulin Forender will task the Warden to find out why he along with Baizyl Harrowmont dropped out of the Proving.

Gwiddon has heard from a member of the Assembly that Harrowmont is going to concede the throne to Bhelen Aeducan and since he does not want to be involved into politics, he withdrew from the fights to avoid shame on both him and his family.

The Warden can inform him that this is not true and that he/she knows this from Dulin Forender himself.

To finally convince him, the Warden can persuade him that it is a lie. Alternatively, without the use of persuasion, a Dwarf Noble Warden can simply reveal their identity of being the middle child of King Endrin Aeducan. If successful, he agrees to return to the Provings and can be asked to fight at the Warden's side when needed.
