Guests of the Hold is a side quest in the Jaws of Hakkon DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Though guest status has been granted, it will take some effort for Stone-Bear Hold to view the Inquisition as a trusted friend.

Acquisition

Gather all five of the bones from the marsh location from It Remains to be Seen and speak to the Augur. In Exile, Up and Away, and the war table mission Send Skywatcher to Stone-Bear Hold are also opportunities for approval points.

Walkthrough

It Remains to be Seen

The Augur tells you the bones are a part of a magic ritual, but he won't explain the purpose of the ritual until you show a better understanding of Avvar magic. You must earn the respect of the Stone-Bear Hold, much like Favor of the Dalish in the Exalted Plains. Take the Veilfire torch inside the Augur's house and walk down to the funeral chamber where Gyda Myrdotten gives you the quest A Father's Name. Examine all three rune symbols in the surrounding walls for codex entries, The Death, The Mourning, The Return. Go back to the Augur and speak with him again. Results are 2 points towards approval.

In Exile

Another side quest by speaking to Sigrid the Exile on the far west side of the map. Speak to the Augur about Sigrid and he will explain how Avvar mages accept a spirit in their hearts as a "teacher" until adulthood when they make an offering to the gods and release the spirit. Sigrid has either failed the ritual or else has abandoned it, so investigate along the beach below the hold where view will reveal three clues (and an additional, unrelated fact). Examine the bird and the incense, the full vial of lyrium and the small charred circle in the grass and go confront Sigrid in her house. Listen to her explanation and you can offer to make her an agent of the Inquisition or agree that she confess to the Augur for his advice. Either option gives you one additional point towards approval.

Up and Away

At the fishing house where What Yet Lingers begins, speak to Linna and she'll tell you her cousin Runa went climbing and hasn't returned. Walk north of the house and climb the hill where a sun diagram is painted on the stone and use viewfinder to reveal the axe embedded in the rock. Examine it and reveal the clue to following Runa's path to her location. Finish the quest for another point. (Bonus: Stay and listen to the prayer for one magic attribute!)

Send Skywatcher to Stone-Bear Hold

If you completed the Fallow Mire quest and recruited Skywatcher you can send him to the Stone-Bear Hold as a gesture of good will. Either choice delivers the same result, influence and one approval point.
