Gregory Dedrick is the mayor of the Crestwood Village in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Background[]
Involvement[]
When the Inquisitor arrives at the village, they persuade the mayor to allow them access to the controls for the area's dam in the keep of Caer Bronach, in order to drain the reserve and enter Old Crestwood with the intent of closing the Fade rift, which is allowing spirits into the world who in turn are animating the undead attacking the village. Fearing that evidence would be found, exposing his deeds, and unable to bear the sight of his old home due to his own guilt, the mayor leaves a note, confessing his crimes, and flees.
The Inquisition eventually locates and captures Dedrick, and he is brought to Skyhold to face judgment. Dedrick willingly confesses his crimes but states that he only acted because he could not see any alternative in order to save as many lives as he could.
The Inquisitor may:
- Exile Gregory Dedrick
- Execute him
- Hand him over to Ferelden for trial
- Conscript him into the Grey Wardens since his actions were crimes of the Blight (requires completion of the quest Here Lies the Abyss, with the Wardens not being exiled)
