The Golem master is a unique Genlock emissary that resides in Kal'Hirol. At some point since the darkspawn occupied the Great thaig, this darkspawn has learned how to use a Golem control rod to manipulate the inactive golems within.
Involvement[]
The Golem master is encountered in the Main Hall of Kal'Hirol during the quest the Last of the Legion. When the Warden-Commander and their party is detected, the Golem master activates the golems in the alcoves to the left and right of the fortress's main entrance to attack them. It does this with the Golem Control Rod that can be recovered from its body.

- All of the golems in the alcoves near the main entrance will perish soon after the golem master dies, even if they were not activated. The player receives full experience for all golems dying even if they do not kill them but instead focus on the Golem master itself.
- The Golem Master can activate a golem even after dying, due to how the activation scripts function. Until the game recognizes the master's death, the golem will attack the party (it dies when the game finally registers that the master is dead).
