- It actually deals double damage for a total of 400% weapon damage.
- Instead of applying Stun as the ability description might suggest, the upgrade actually causes Knockdown, which lasts roughly as long as the suggested Stun effect would
- When close enough to enemies (i.e. roughly 3m) that cannot normally be pulled (e.g. Wraiths, Bears, Behemoths), the animation will pull the user to the target allowing the kick to inflict damage if not Knockdown, thus making Grappling Chain much more effective against enemies it would otherwise be useless against
