Gertrude is a refugee and a merchant in Dragon Age: Inquisition; her stall can be found in the Emerald Graves.
Background[]
Gertrude sells weapons, weapon upgrades, and crafting materials. Gertrude's stall can be found in either Watcher's Reach or Argon's Lodge, based on the Inquisitor's actions with Sister Costeau and Fairbanks.
Involvement[]
Gertrude is one of the refugees of the War of the Lions residing at Watcher's Reach in the Emerald Graves. When the encampment's supplies ran low, the refugees would occasionally steal additional supplies from the Freemen of the Dales. Gertrude intended to steal from the former Chantry sister by the name of Costeau at the Veridium Mine; however, her last heist goes sour and Costeau is able to catch her red-handed and imprisons her.
When the Inquisitor arrives at the mine, Costeau attacks in confusion, believing the Inquisitor and their party have come to steal additional supplies. Defeating Sister Costeau and freeing the captives via the side quests A Fallen Sister and Not Everyone's Free will unlock Gertrude as a merchant. Her stall will be available at either Watcher's Reach or at Argon's Lodge if Fairbanks and the remaining refugees have relocated there.
