This Darkspawn mage first appears when you cross the bridge towards the Tower of Ishal in the Return to Ostagar DLC. In a cutscene, it disturbs the Warden and Alistair from paying their respects to Cailan's body by summoning several skeletons. Once the Warden tracks it down to the Ostagar battlefield, it spawns an Elite Boss Rise Ogre, as well as constantly spawning skeletons. Killnig the Necromancer will destroy all spawned creatures, including the Ogre.
