There are several different types of gems that you will find throughout the game. They typically appear under the "Other" category in your inventory.
Note that there are also special gems that can be used as gifts. They are easily distinguished with the purple word "gift" when you examine them in the inventory. See the article on Gifts for more info about these special gems.

Uses
- What the game calls "middle gems", which include Sapphires, Topaz, Amethysts, and Malachites, can be turned in to help your dwarven allies through the Allied Supply Crates in your Party Camp.
- 10 Garnet gems are required for the quest Untraceable.
- "Remarkable" gems are actually gifts for Shale.
- All gems can be sold to a vendor for cash.
