Gaspard de Chalons is an Orlesian nobleman. Famed for his temper, he is a member of the Chevaliers and has previously won many victories for Orlais.
Involvement
Dragon Age: The Masked Empire
Eventually, Gaspard became disillusioned with Celene I's rule and Gaspard began to doubt that Celene’s diplomatic approach to the mage problem or the elven uprisings have any chance in keeping Orlais safe. He decided to challenge Celene for the throne, sparking the Orlesian Civil War as he thought it is time for a new leader, one who lives by the tenets of the Chevalier’s Code, to make Orlais strong again.
