Changes: Freedom for Anders

Background

Help Anders find his phylactery.

Anders has learned that his phylactery, a vial of his blood that allows the templars to track him down, is currently stored in a warehouse in the city of Amaranthine. You agreed to help him recover it.

Walkthrough

Find an elf woman standing near the steps to the Chantry in Amaranthine. She grudgingly tells Anders where to find the cache and the vial of his blood the Templars can use to track him down. Now you can enter the warehouse, which is near the armorer's stall. Inside there will seem to be no guards. Loot the place and head into the next rooms where you will encounter--surprise, surprise--some templars. They are not pleased to see Anders still alive and kicking, and they demand you hand him over. If you refuse you get to fight them. Once they are dead there is more to loot, though you never do find the vial of blood. Having killed the Templars seems to be enough to get them to leave Anders alone. Once you go back to Vigil's Keep Anders will thank you for standing by him.

Result

If you do it you will find it is a trap. Two Templars are waiting for you and want to take Anders. If you refuse to let him go you will have to fight them.
