Frederic's Livelihood is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
White Claw Raiders have made off with Frederic's supplies. Search areas where White Claw Raiders are active to recover the supplies.
Acquisition[]
If the Inquisitor has found Frederic's supplies on a dead man's body in the Western Approaches' Canyons, they show them to the professor at their first meeting near the Nazaire's Pass Camp. Frederic will fear for his expedition's other members and ask the Inquisitor to help him recover the rest of the supplies.
If all five supplies already have been found before this meeting, the quest can be turned in immediately.
Walkthrough[]
Recover four more Research Supplies on top of the initial one. The latter usually will be found around a broken wagon in the Canyons, shortly south of the entrances to the Forgotten and the Sand Rock Mine, while the others are carried by White Claw Raiders throughout the Western Approach, enemies who will attack the Inquisitor on sight.
Unless already obtained before the first meeting with Frederic and returned on that occasion, all five supplies can later be given to him in his camp on Nazaire's Pass.

- Frederic gives out the next quests, How to Lure a Dragon and, if asked to "tell [me] more about dragons," Hunting Patterns.
- If also asked to "tell [me] of this place," the quest Assault on Griffon Wing Keep is unlocked.
Notes[]
- The White Claw Raiders drop the Research Supplies, until five of them have been acquired. It is not necessary to examine that wagon in the Canyons; in fact, the examinable sack becomes inactive and the "new quest" marker disappears, if all five supplies are looted from dead raiders.
