What about Wynne's son?

So... I was replaying Origins and Wynne and, I think, Alistair have a conversation where it is said that Wynne have a son that was taken away from her. I were joking with my boyfriend on how that might have been Anders and how if so, it would mean he inherited her love of joining with Spirits.

Now, I don't think it is Anders (though it would be an interesting thought) no, what I am interested in are theories around her son. Is he a mage or is he just a normal man now? Could he have died in the Blight or is he a Templar, since most children taken from mages in the Circle were raised in the Chantry.

Personally I like to think that he grew up and became a templar, never knowing that his mother was a mage. The irony of that would be so delicious.

I wonder if we will ever know? But it would be interesting to see what happened to him, don't you think?--Ser Mea (talk) 19:13, October 24, 2011 (UTC)

If you read the information David Gaider has given us about Dragon Age: Asunder, it should answer a lot of your questions. Rathian Warrior (talk) 19:25, October 24, 2011 (UTC)

Oh, okay. --Ser Mea (talk) 20:05, October 24, 2011 (UTC)

I think that since wynne was a mage maybe if the son was raised in the chantry he waould be an arcane warrior and a templar at the same time

Rhys(The name of Wynne's son) can't be an Arcane warrior. If you recall in origins, the elf spirit stuck in the orb in the ruins was the only person left in the world to know the secrets of the Arcane warrior. So it's not a common practice used by people in Thedas. The only people who probably know about it is The Warden and his companions.--Vincent Cousland (talk) 15:36, October 29, 2011 (UTC)

And that one odd Cultist Overseer who drops Spellweaver, and that guy in the provings. S BenDev (talk) 15:51, October 29, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm with Ben. Just because The Warden and his/her companions didn't know what an Arcane Warrior was... doesn't mean others do not. Zambingo (talk) 16:38, October 29, 2011 (UTC)

so i could be right :D

No, the chantry would never allow a mage to be a Templar.--Isolationistmagi (talk) 20:45, October 29, 2011 (UTC)
