I'm torn between Fenris and Anders! Because I romanced Alistair in DA:O and Anders really does resemble Alistair, I was going to romance Anders. But now hes fused with Justice I keep thinking he's gonna have some temper problem or something LOL. So I'm edging towards Fenris.. but it depends what Anders is like, haha.

Who are you going to romance? Charlotte cousland (talk) 13:56, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Fenris! 1000 times over. No competition. Sorry Anders, get rid of that demon spirit thing and MAYBE we'll talk... but probably not because Fenris is pure hotness. I will say that I'm concerned (VERY concerned) that the devs said certain romances will only happen if you're in a rivalry with that person. I don't want to go the wrong path with Fenris and loss out on the romance, or I'm starting the game over. XIII Lightning (talk) 15:35, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Right now I'm leaning towards romancing no one, mainly because I'm not too stoked by the options. If it wasn't for the sister thing, I'd probably go with Bethany, but that particular avenue is obviously closed. Isabela may be hot, but she's not my type, and right now I can't make an informed decision on Merrill. She's free to change my mind, though. TiagoSpurs22 (talk) 15:43, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Hmm.. Well I never quite liked Isabela a whole lot, neither in Origins nor what I've seen from her in Dragon Age 2 so that leaves me with Merrill. And honestly, I am more than fine with that. Although, sadly, there isn't that much information about her yet so hopefully my opinion on that regard wont change anytime soon or I'll have one lonely Hawke. --Haasth (talk) 15:56, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

I don't like Isabela either, sorry if anyone does, but she reminds me of a man alot Charlotte cousland (talk) 16:01, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

I want to romance Mother Hawke (Leandra Snfonseka), She so hot and young looking for having 3 children. And I do love the outfit she has on something about shoulders being bare is a turn on for me. Plus we know she’s experienced.  wanted49 2/26/11!

Your mother is that even a possibility? I think i while romance marrill on my male warrior playtrough and my female rouge will be a slut and romance everyone. to bad aveline and bethany (not the fact that she your sister) is romance-able.--Nordahl1988 (talk) 14:52, February 27, 2011 (UTC)

Isabela and Anders. Weak Spot (talk) 16:03, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

To be honest, i'm not sure who i will romance for my Male warrior Hawke, those females can't be the only ones that male hawke has to romance. There has to be other females to romance. 99.224.178.157 (talk) 16:04, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

From what I've seen so far my male Hawke (mage) will probably go for Isabela. She's a pirate and let's face it, that alone should be reason enough to romance her. Also I am sure her softer side will eventually shine through. It has always been like that with "tough" female characters in bioware games - even with Morrigan. For my female Hawke (rogue) I haven't made up my mind, yet. I liked Anders in DA:O, but we don't really know how much he has changed since then. However, if he still has the kitty I can totally see my female Hawke falling for him. Zordan Rodiak (talk) 16:52, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

For my male characters I'm going to romance Isabela, and my females Anders. Themagiwarden (talk) 17:27, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Given that it's Eve Myles (link to silly youtube clip) that does Merrill's voice, and her accent is adorable, there's a good chance I'll try to romance her. - Kerethos (talk) 18:11, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Whoa! Didn't know Eve was voicing Merrill. That's like twelve degrees of awesomeness (big Torchwood fan here)! TiagoSpurs22 (talk) 05:15, February 27, 2011 (UTC)

Anders. Assuming he isnt getting possessed every 20 seconds. Subject 14 (talk) 18:21, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Playing the demo, I got an immediate turn on to Isabella. Typical, I know, but the exotic beauty of a sexy swashbuckling rogue has me hook, line and sinker. Plus, it'll be like the "all sex no feeling" relationship you got with Morrigan in DA:O, and that poses more of a challenge to get the woman to open up to her feelings no? I like pursuing challenges. --Reese777 (talk) 19:08, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

For my playthrough, it all depends on who is the male Bi option, since for me in DA:O although I liked Alistair for my female warden, pursuing Zevran for my male warden was, in my opinion, the most rewarding relationship of the two. If Fenris is the Bi option, he will be for my male mage Hawke and Anders will be for my female warrior Hawke. If Anders is the Bi option, after I unfreeze my face from shock, my maleHawke will pursue him, and Fenris will be reserved for my FemHake :p Sevarian10 (talk) 19:27, February 26, 2011 (UTC)Sevarian10

@Sevarian10 haha yeah agree, I just can't see Anders being Bi what-so-ever Charlotte cousland (talk) 19:31, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Agreed. In all of my playhroughs of DA:A, not once did he hit on my male wardens, which is pretty much blasphemy since all of my male Wardens are HOT. And, just like Isabella, I don't think Bioware is naive enough to change his preferences just for the sake of a new game, or like I saw someone suggest on another forum, change his preferences just because he is possessed :| Seriously, if a spirit/demon is all it takes to change who's behind you are more likely to drool at, then every abomination in DA:O eyes should have been glued on my Wardens juicy hind quarters...that's all I'm saying lol ;P Sevarian10 (talk) 19:47, February 26, 2011 (UTC)Sevarian10
LOL Charlotte cousland (talk) 19:49, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

I think I'm going to go for Merrill ;) Show her that humans aren't all bad :D WardenCommander17 (talk) 19:39, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Everyone. I'll start w/Isabella, then check out Merrill. Maybe in the same game. Then any NPC's like Gheyna, Iona etc were. Also in the same game no doubt. Then my female Hawke will do the same. Then, when I actually know something about them all, I may pick a favorite. The Grey Unknown (talk) 21:14, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Merrill.

Is it just me who finds her cute as hell? Diwaldor (talk) 21:17, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Diwaldor, I know exactly what you mean. Don't get me wrong, I'm not some weirdo in love with a character from a video game, but yeah, she is definitely so cute! WardenCommander17 (talk) 21:24, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, Merrill seems well cute, good voice actor as well. I bet Bioware are going to go and crush the innocence though. They can't! NOOO! But they will. *Sob* JJjoinut999 (talk) 21:36, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Merrill looks so much younger compared to Origins now! Which is obviously a good thing, although I'm not going to romance her. In Origins she looked horrible and old. ew Charlotte cousland (talk) 21:53, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

You do know that the same applied for Isabella, right? --Guest User (I have no idea what my number thingies are)

Merrill. No doubt in my mind. For all you people who think Merrill is "too young", think about the following: she is (or rather was) going to be the next Keeper of a Dalish tribe (pretty soon at that considering how old Marethari is, I don't think the Dalish entrust their tribes to children), she has fully developed breasts (not referring to the size, but the shape), she's taller than Varric (elven children are shorter than adult dwarves), she has a face tattoo (which only adult dalish elves receive), and she is voiced by Welsh hottie Eve Myles (who is 32 years old and has a very attractive accent). GO Team Merrill! ChomskyDisciple 1:17, February 27, 2011 (UTC)

Too bad Aveline is not a romance option, It would've made and interesting arc IMO, either helping her get over her husband's death with kind words (friendship), or berating her until she can't take anymore and you decide to settle things in bed(rivalry), rough sex anyone? DalishPreserver

Anders. Whether he likes it or not. ~ Genon

I don't have any favorites in general, if anything who I'd want my Hawke to be with or how my Hawke would see relationships depending on the class I start off with honestly. My warrior, he's gonna romance/tame Isabella, since he's gonna be that strong warrior with values that she might make him question. My rogue she's gonna romance everyone and I'll might settle for someone in the end or just keep it casual either way she'll have her fun, she's my grey area character that will be who she is on the fly. And my mage is gonna go for Merill and I'll play it as if there'd be an off chance that I can corrupt her or that she'll be my guiding light since my mage will be subjected to the negative aspects of power and Merill will be his conscience who I'll try to bring down with me.--DaTruth (talk) 06:02, February 27, 2011 (UTC)

Personally I'll romance both Isabela and Merill. Kheva Cousland (talk) 11:35, February 27, 2011 (UTC)

I'm torn my first play through will be a male warrior hawke. Isabella is a person u can see throwing a frying pan at you then jump into bed with u next sec. and merrill is the cute but shy girl next door cant decide:(Colonel Ketchup (talk) 12:38, February 27, 2011 (UTC)

Tough decision between Ferris and Anders... Anders was always my favourite on Awakening, but after seeing so many fanarts of Ferris, I started growing fond of him. And he has white hair... I, uhhh, have a thing of two with white hair... I don't know. Maybe Ferris because Anders is possessed so he may be kinda of bipolar and that would be weird while romancing him. —Rocketai (Ho there! Chase my tail!) 13:00, February 27, 2011 (UTC)

Definately Merrill. I was torn between Isabela and Merrill but as soon as I found out Eve Myles was voicing Merrill... I was sold! (DDragonfly1990 (talk) 13:31, February 27, 2011 (UTC))

I'll romance all of them with different characters, but I think Fenris is going to be first.Sarkadark (talk) 16:50, February 27, 2011 (UTC)

Pretty hard choice for me now, cause Fenris + Anders' voice (Anders has changed) are horrible. Sorry but nasty voices are a big nono Charlotte cousland (talk) 19:16, February 27, 2011 (UTC)

I am jumping Anders the first chance I get. Loved him in Awakening and was rather upset that we couldn't romance him then. If it wasn't for Bethany being my sister I would go for her. But at some point I am going to romance Fenris. My plan is to create a mage(Sophie)and romance Anders. Then create a rogue(Riley) and go for Fenris. Emmalee (talk) 23:00, February 27, 2011 (UTC)

Isabela. I love the idea of taming/bringing out the lover in her which is similar to what happens with Morrigan. I think it will be a good challenge getting her to open up beyond the rouge-ish, pirate-girl exterior. It should be fun. --King Duran Aeducan (talk) 02:31, February 28, 2011 (UTC)

I'll be playing a female rogue on my "main" playthrough, so unless Bioware surprises us by making Merrill bi as well as Isabela than its going to be Isabela for me--HED - HalfElfDragon 03:46, February 28, 2011 (UTC)
