I was playing the dragon age 2 demo and i noticed that the executions they had in origins are gone. im preety mad cus i loved it when you can stab a darkspawn in the chest then cut off his head i mean it gave you satisfaction when killing a boss with one of those they were awsome!!! if you cant execute a ogere in dragon age 2 imagine how boring it will be to fight them!

I believe the devs said that the special killing blows are still there and that archers and mages have them too. I didn't notice any while playing the demo, but it's not like they happened all that often in Origins, so I don't know. XIII Lightning (talk) 15:57, February 25, 2011 (UTC)

Either you just didn't manage any yet, or they're disabled in the demo only, because the devs have indeed said the 'executions' are still there. Diwaldor (talk) 16:34, February 25, 2011 (UTC)

The executions are definitely epic, but I got tired of my character getting pelted with arrows or spell attacks during an extended execution, like an ogre. Did that bother anyone else? I'm glad the executions are back; I just hope that they've made them more balanced so the characters doing the executions aren't essentially penalized for them.
