So Laidlaw said that the citizens of Thedas will think :"There's an interesting undertone here of people in the world believing that you have been sent as a leader by the maker of the universe," explained creative director Mike Laidlaw, in an interview with Polygon. "As a player, I have the option of saying, 'Oh yeah, I'm the chosen one' or asking what the hell they are talking about. It's up to the player.""

What do you want, to be revered or hated, feared or rejoiced? Lazare326 (talk) 10:48, April 23, 2014 (UTC)

I rather work in secret.156.17.71.249 (talk) 10:52, April 23, 2014 (UTC)

hahahaha, this is brilliant! :D that fact alone makes it worth it for me to play the game twice. The first play through as a random dude who's counting his lucky stars to have survived, and reluctantly taking on the duty to seal the tears. and the Second playthrough as Jesus :D Kaspar Sinclair (talk) 11:49, April 23, 2014 (UTC)

Im gonna make them think that I'm the next big thing since Andraste XD. But I'm guessing they did say they look at different races differently, so an Elf as being a chosen one would be pretty ironic.Lazare326 (talk) 11:52, April 23, 2014 (UTC)
OH MY GOD! that would be awesome! imagine if Jesus came back today, holy light descended from Heaven, and he was the weirdest looking black dude :D and all those religious types in the vaitcan and the United States lose their minds and go into denial :D that would be hilarious! you should totally do that!Kaspar Sinclair (talk) 11:56, April 23, 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, I mean, imagine if Jesus was Middle-Eastern, like all people in that region and time were, and not the aryan white skinned long-blonde haired pretty boy that we've morphed him into over time! ...Oh, wait. 67.61.234.198 (talk) 04:42, April 24, 2014 (UTC)
I don't think I've ever seen a blonde Jesus portrayal, only brown haired Ravenfirelight (talk) 23:00, April 26, 2014 (UTC)
Want blown mindes? try a female jesus that would break everyones mindes- not going to sign for fear
Hahah that's why I am! Commoner: "Oh look at that Knife eared idiot" Me: "Hey I'm y'know the guy who walked outta the fade, y'know the 'chosen one'. *Jaws drop* Im gonna love this game. Lazare326 (talk) 12:03, April 23, 2014 (UTC)

4th great elven warrior of whole time after Shartan, Garahel and the elven Hero of Ferelden.FirstDrellSpectre (talk) 22:38, April 26, 2014 (UTC)

My first Inquisitor is going to be a female no nonsense Qunari, so she's going to totally ignore those expectations and become a wrathful yet benevolent leader. My second a Inquisitor is going yo be a human male, and he's not just going to play up being the chosen one, he's going to believe it himself Ravenfirelight (talk) 22:59, April 26, 2014 (UTC)

My female Qunari Mage really won't care whether she is the chosen one or not. She's use peoples' believe in the chosen one to further her goals and deny it when it causes a bad reputation for the inquisition. She'll be more focused on politics and charming people to really care about a human religion. Then I'll play an elf inquisitor who truly believes she's the chosen one.—Preceding unsigned comment added by {} (talk • contribs)

Inquisition is an independent, but nothing can be done without money, so how will the inquisition have resources for it's campaigns? I guess they'll start as bandits or mercenaries.FirstDrellSpectre (talk) 17:28, April 27, 2014 (UTC)

Or they've gained mass support from sources such as nations? We don't know enough details to make assumptions based on that. I think that the more bases you hold the more your army builds up, bit like assassins creed with the assassins. Lazare326 (talk) 17:39, April 27, 2014 (UTC)
Yeah Drell. The inquistion would obviously have at the very least, limited sponsorship. The information already given states that they're already an organization, albeit a fledgling one. Meaning they have the monetary means to not resort to banditry (unlike the mages and templars), and since they're an independent organisation with it's own goals they won't resort to mercenary work (which is bound by contract to a nation for an agreed upon sum for the agreed upon duration of said contract). They could still interfere with politics and such of other nations, but as an independent organisation, not as a mercenary company. Kaspar Sinclair (talk) 09:21, April 28, 2014 (UTC)

My first Inquisitor is probably gonna be a human male Mage, and his attitude will be like: What the hell are you talking about? He'll be thinking, What. Just. Happened, and, thanking the Maker he wasn't turned to dust. I want him to start off confused, then taking charge and learning to accept the position he's in. Second one will probably be a Qunari warrior who pretty much snorts at everything and everyone. SenjiBen (talk) 00:15, April 28, 2014 (UTC)

I want them to look at him and go, "Really? This is the guy who's going to save the world? We are so boned..."--Darkly Tranquil (talk) 08:08, April 28, 2014 (UTC)

Ha! Changed my mind, this ^^^. 122.57.209.101 09:24, April 28, 2014 (UTC)

I want my Inquisition to be a place were everyone is welcome, it won't matter if your a Mage or a thief my inquisition will accept you. My side in the Mage vs. Templar war is Mage, they need freedom an the same rights as everyone else, the circle would become a college where you could learn not a prison. 64.90.137.2 (talk) 12:40, April 28, 2014 (UTC)

Inquisition is no place on map, it's an organisation and what will you do with mages doing truancy?FirstDrellSpectre (talk) 12:46, April 28, 2014 (UTC)
I never said it was a place on the map, I was a little unclear in the way I worded it. What I mean is that my inquisition will accept everyone, and the way I stand in the M vs T war is with the mages.
