I would say the most evil killing you be in the Slavery part the game with the City Elf warden then killing them all to get the health bonus. That just seems REALLY evil.. you kill your dad for a health bonus... I tried to make an evil bitter person and it didn't work. I kinda hate that we have to kill Loghain, really wish you could have BOTH him and Alistair in your party. I think out of all the times I played I have never murder The Lady of The Forest. EVER! Made them all kill the elves but never killed her... she seems way to nice.

I only act like a sick bitch/bastard when I'm bored or when I beat the game like three times as a goodie. The stupidest thing I ever did and I regret doing it was letting Isolde sacrifice herself on the Blood Magic ritual (well, that was good in one side, but the other one...) Alistair got really pissed at me and, since I was still a n00b on the game, I didn't know what to say to him and lost almost -30 and I was trying hard to romance him ):

I never had big lulz playing as a bitch character on Dragon Age, to tell the truth... I had my great lul moments with Mass Effect, no doubt. Ahh... Good times. —Rocketai <small>(тalk • сontr)</small> 02:13, October 17, 2010 (UTC)

I suspect I am not only one who does "Stupid Evil" playthroughs - you know, when your Big Damn Hero betrays everyone, laughs at their faces and kills them (not necessarily in this order) just because it's their idea of having fun. And while sometimes it's very fun indeed, some other times you can't help but feel like a disgusting piece of utter ratbastard. Say, the one that did it for me was the Poet Tree for some reason. Never felt more a despicable me when I did it in. :( So, I'm curious about those guilt and shame moments of other players. Dorquemada (talk) 11:49, October 14, 2010 (UTC)

Whenever I'm speaking to the characters, I always feel guilty choosing the "stupid evil" option. As to actions, nothing really stands out as "Aw I can't believe I did that."--Rathian Warrior (talk) 12:36, October 14, 2010 (UTC)

I have no problem telling people to shove it unless they're my companions. I have trouble telling my party members to screw off. I do however feel the most guilty killing those who do not deserved to be killed. I had one playthrough where I killed everyone in my path and I felt so awful that I deleted that character. I then created another character who does not necessarily kill everyone in her path, but just betrays everyone and kills those who threaten her/deserves to be killed.--Fantasyeve87 13:32, October 14, 2010 (UTC)

Ah, so you are asking for some douche-bag moments. Mine would be going through Harrowmont's quests in Orzammar, then I screw him and pick Bhelen to be king. Hey, he deserved it for being a stubborn idiot.Sg c paulo (talk) 15:15, October 14, 2010 (UTC)

This is my usual manner of dealing with this quest now. It's a bit quicker, since you can knock off the Proving in a couple minutes, and it opens the Proving area earlier, so you can get all the notes necessary for the Key to the City. I only wish that when you screwed Harrowmont over, he'd really complain about it, so much so that you could kill him yourself- instead of Bhelen ordering it. Oddly there are two that really make me just sick inside. One is betraying Alistar at the Landmeet and having him put to death (I guess because its easy for me to sympathize with him) and second when I had made a really just cruel evil character and manipulated Leliana into a relationship and then killed her after defiling the urn. That one was unusually hard considering its a video game, but damn I felt bad. --Xiorath (talk) 16:12, October 14, 2010 (UTC)

I feel nauseated everytime I make a big bad bastard in games. Don't ask me why, I'm already enough of an asshole in real life ('cuz I don't care much for it, nor for people who ain't my friends) so killing everyone makes me kinda sick... Unless they deserved it. I aways butcher my way into Denerim Palace during the City Elf Origin, 'cuz those damn rapers deserve that, and that's the only time I don't feel bad with the unecessary killing (and rat poisoning). The Bard From Hell (talk) 16:27, October 14, 2010 (UTC)

I have the worst one...

Going to Redcliffe and promising to help protect the town, and then promptly leaving to get some "supplies". One quick tour of Ferelden later and voila! Redcliffe is a burning wreck and most of the population are dead.--Madasamadthing (talk) 22:30, October 14, 2010 (UTC)

That is why I do try not do those things, some people say they play an evil charcter for "fun" but to me I enjoy it most when my character is good and helpful it is what I would do in real life and it is what I do in the game I dont think it is fun to do unjust things whether in a videogame or in Life.--Gdubs (talk) 22:43, October 14, 2010 (UTC)

you people feel guilty over videogame decisions... okay well stupidity is bliss i guess. AWSHISUN!. jotun cousland

Getting Isoold to kill Conner. I'm pretty sure that made a hole in my heart that will never get better Eveangaline (talk) 01:34, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

@jotun cousland, like books, rpg's are meant to inspire feelings as it helps you connect to the characters and games, there's nothing wrong with that.

Another point I think is horrible is when you find the toy doll in the elven alienage, while this has nothing to do with a kill or a choice it is quite sad. --Xiorath (talk) 01:37, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

a hole in your heart that will never heal! find a doll in a videogame makes you sad! you people take this game to seriously. jotun cousland (is a giant homo -Anoynmous).

Perhaps some do, or perhaps it comes with having an imagination people can feel sad playing a game as they can when reading a book or watching a film. Do you believe it beneficial to criticize people?

And you named yourself Cousland. LVTDUDE (talk) 02:50, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

Seriously? It comes with having an imagination. I'm not saying the feelings carry outside of the game, but they're still there. If you lack imagination then you're missing part of the game. --Xiorath (talk) 03:49, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

I prefer making a character whos intimidating and rude like renegade shepard because i feel it adds more character to my... character. I do feel that my characters should pick the right choices, but in DA ther arent many right and wrong choices Crimpycracker (talk) 04:48, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

One of the most unnecessary act of malice one can perform in DAO is to kill Brother Genitivi after finding the ashes of Andraste. I think that's what disgusted me the most in my evil character. IP no. 59.95.169.10 (talk) 09:35, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

Gdubs. yes i do find it beneficial to criticize people, also its fun. ps thanks for the info about the signature. AWSHISUN! --Jotun cousland (talk) 12:19, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

As a completionist, I always try to make a truly evil character just to discover all the possible content that I might have missed, but it really is kind of hard to do at times. Sometimes cause I feel guilty, but other times because I can't reconcile why my truly evil character still bothers trying to save the world. In more open storyline games, its a bit easier, but even Dragon Age, though an excellent game, is still pretty linear.

In reference to Brother Genitivi, while I don't LIKE killing him (though throwing the knife and the way he falls down with it in the back of his head is... well its just badass!) it does hold a greater good as it protects the ashes from exploit. For the most part in my games I just let him go as most my character's don't give a damn. Ironically I only really kill him when I'm playing as a Templar. --Xiorath (talk) 17:48, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

alright i'll play along. i aswell enjoy seeing genitivi get taken out with the knife. i enjoy seeing knives thrown i don't know it just seems cool to me. i don't really care about killing anyone being evil is fun. & for those who think i have no imagination check out dragon age 2 rumors. AWSHISUN! --Jotun cousland (talk) 19:12, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

I enjoy it the most when I play to my PCs character... and sometimes the PC isn't so nice for one reason or another, so yes, I've done some despicable things in the game.

This is probably why noble is my least favorite class... I usually feel that the PC is well, noble. Guess I'll have to go back and try evil noble...

It's pretty easy to justify as lot of rebellion and various mayhem, at least for me, in either of the elf origins... elf workers of the world unite and shake off your chains! ;-) --TropicalFool (talk) 20:42, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

Tsk. Now I regret making my stupid evil girl a Dalish. While throwing a fellow clan to the werewolves is not a very nice thing, selling own father into slavery, methinks, really takes the cake. Dorquemada (talk) 21:07, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

I was a good character. I may have solved problems in mean ways like intimidation but thats only in confrontations. Im only guilty about killing Loghain after seeing how he seemed redeemed RIGHT AT THE MOMENT YOUR GOING TO KILL HIM BUT I didnt want to lose my best friend Alistair. I know theres a way to spare Loghain and keep Alistair from being a drunk but I ask, (and plz answer me) will he hate me?

Not if you harden his heart during his sister thing.
