I can understand cutting costs, or saving space, or whatever. But that doesn't mean I can't bitch regardless. My dwarven thug has an uptown well educated american diction, and it's pissing me off. I have this image of him as poorly educated, drunk and ornary; not Oghren, but somewhere in that spectrum. And the dialogue wheel doesn't help; why can't I have Sera snot too??? How come my choices have to be... educated choices. The closest he's gotten to real shit talk is, "he's gonna pay for what he's done." OoooOoooOooo, is that the best he's got? Why not, "I'm gonna rip his heart out through his asshole!!!" Or, "I'm gonna enjoy filleting him." Shadizar666 (Ruck Rules) 06:31, January 22, 2016 (UTC)
There's more than a few people that dislike the addition on voiced player characters, the voices they used have never fitted with my characters either but I assumed it will be something they will continue to do in future games unfortunately.

While I don't really mind the what she says, I'd have preferred an Irish voice for my elven inquisitor. I feel like neither the British nor the American voice really fit for elves. None of the elven NPCs talk like that. That's not to say the voice acting is bad (it most definitively is not!) but it sounds like it belongs to a noble human, not a dalish elf.
