After i finished playing Awakening, I kinda like the way Vigilance(Greatsword) got mixed up in the story. May I suggest Bioware to please make 2 other Greatswords,(Victory and Sacrifice)in accordance to the Grey Warden motto. Since there's already a Vigilance. I would also suggest to David Gaider to create some sort of mysticicism among those three swords. Most importantly, Grey wardens should be the only ones to hold those blades. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jackalsofmasyaff (talkcontribs)

I'm pretty sure the blade was named Vigilance for more than one reason, not the least of which (though not the greatest either) being that it was forged at Vigil's Keep. Considering how epic and rare of a masterpiece the blade was supposed to be I don't think it would make much sense for Wade to just keep making them. Just one man's opinion though. --Aedan Cousland (talk) 12:48, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

Vigilance ws said to have been stolen by the Crows and past threw many hands. It would be cool to see Hawke end up with it for a while.--Ronin Cousland (talk) 12:55, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

The only problem with that is that it could be a greatsword or a longsword, or have an array of different stat bonuses. However, I guess they could just change it's stats to whatever they want, seeing how the epilogue states that some believe the sword 'has taken a life of it's own'. I hope that means if it's in DA2, we won't have another crazy talking blade... DeltaEcho (talk) 15:49, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

that sounds kind of like a good idea but again what aedan said it supposed to be epic & rare so your likely out of luck. AWSHISUN! --Jotun cousland (talk) 19:48, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

Did anyone else think of Soul Edge when they read the epilogue for Vigilance? --Warden Of The Dales (talk) 22:24, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, wow, now that you mention it, yeah, it kinda does. I wonder if that's just a coincidence or an intentional reference. DeltaEcho (talk) 22:42, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

Nothing quite like a sword that blinks at you right before tearing you in half... just saying. --Xiorath (talk) 22:46, October 15, 2010 (UTC)
