What would your top 3 locations to see in and around Orlais be? And how would you tie it in ?

Mine would probably have to be:

1) The Dales maybe a specific artifact that could help end/shorten the war somehow.

2) Kal Sharok convince the dwarves to help end the war above ground/you help them secure the thaig sort of thing.

3) Tirashan woods/Jungle- Curious as it takes up pretty much the western part of Orlais and Maybe it's where the Mages have made their HQ negotiate peace/lead the assault?

That's mine what's yours?? Kyz99 (talk) 17:57, May 12, 2013 (UTC)Kyz99

I would love to see Val Royeaux and the fallen Dales. There should be ruins filled with information and treasures about the old Dales and what really led them to lose their inmortality.--Emilia Da'len (talk) 14:02, May 22, 2013 (UTC)

Same here except for the 3rd one, I'd like to visit Val Royeaux, sadly more for politician rather than travelling reasons. I'd have to deal with conflict between the empress and rebel nobles and mage templar mess.

But Kal Sharok unlike Orzammar has no access to the surface, but I also am interested in this city fortress. I think if that's mage templar war, then it should remain a concern of mages and templars, dwarves have no reason to take part in this war.78.8.140.88 (talk) 18:03, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

I would love to visit Val Royeaux but also hate it. I would love to see the city because I hear it's beautiful but I hate bloody Orlesians. They're all back-stabbing, annoying, prissy wankers that complain toom much about the stupidest things.

I would also Kal Sharok somehow since no access to surface because I want to see if it's very different from Orzammar due to the fact barely-to-no human contact or surface contact.

I would also love to visit the Palace of Val Royeaux, possibly meet the queen. That would be awesome. --LilMissUnTalented (talk) 18:32, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

Orlais has no queen, but empress. You use too emotional words and for what? You could simply say you hate Orlesians and by saying they're all the same in negative meaning you don't make yourself look friendly. What do you expect after writting this? By using too emotional words, you provoke your opponents. You must have been smart ebough to predict this.78.8.140.88 (talk) 18:49, May 12, 2013 (UTC)
Every post you make you're either criticizing someone or telling them how to behave online. Could you please cut it out? It's getting annoying. If you feel the need to tell people how to act go be a life coach or something and talk about dragon age on the dragon age wiki. Thanks. -- Soulofshezarr (talk) 23:49, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

I'd like to think Kal sharok would be a possible location for DLC so it wouldn't need to be in the actual war per se but I'd like to involve them anyway. Maybe a passage through the Hunterhorn mountains fingers crossed :) Kyz99 (talk) 19:06, May 12, 2013 (UTC)Kyz99

Involving other nations into not their conflict ends badly. America and USSR are good examples.78.8.140.88 (talk) 21:22, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

A really good brothel, a really bad brothel, and Val Royeaux. BladedOcelot (talk) 20:11, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

^Redundancy. Val Royeaux is a one big brothel already, with it's good and bad sides.

My number one place to see is the charred ruins of the Grand Cathedral after a nice Kirkwall-style explosion. -Algol- (talk) 18:25, May 14, 2013 (UTC)

Ay, Algol, WHY U SO TERRORRORIST?! :-[ Anyway, while you're at it, do launch a missile - or a dragon - at upper floors of White Spire, will you? But neatly - just to slice them off, leaving the middle levels of mages intact. Dorquemada (talk) 18:59, May 14, 2013 (UTC)
1. It's not "terrorrrorist" it's "turrist" :) Makes me think of a tourist with a turret.
2. I'll launch a dragon carrying missiles. They'd effing shit themselves at upper floors of White Spire. -Algol- (talk) 19:15, May 14, 2013 (UTC)

I'd like to visit the Dales & that Abyss in Dragon Age: Asunder.

I want to explore the sewers of Val Royeaux for spy purposes, the ruins of the Dales, and the pass between the Frostback Mountians. That would be an awsome ambush sight!

1. Val Royeaux - Being the capital, it would easily be tied in as a base of operations. I'd just love to see it based on Leliana's description! :)

2. Montsimmard - Grey Wardens AND mages using the same place as headquarters? Sounds interesting, especially the Warden and Templar conflicts over disobedient mages. XD Could be tied in by needing to contact the Wardens and/or mages for assistance of some sort.

3. Halamshiral - The Dalish elves used to live there. 'Nuff said. As you can see from my Elvish username, I love the Dalish - My favourite Warden is a Dalish Elf called Abélath. I imagine the area would be tied in with some legend to do with the Elves, be it an artifact, haunting, or even just the history of the area. I'd just love to explore the area and the Dales around it! :)

Can't wait for Dragon Age III, especially if it's going to be in Orlais. Hopefully it will be better than Origins and II combined, that's what my hopes are! Also, Morrigan must return. 109.77.205.254 (talk) 03:05, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

In no particular order:

1.The Dales and all the elven ruins in it, would be interesting to get a look at what an elven city would have looked like.

2. Val Royeux, it's supposed to be the capital of the most powerful nation in Thedas, it had better be impressive!

3.Nevarra and it's capital. The OP said around Orlais, and Nevarra is a neighbour. The way the mausoleums were discribed sounded interesting, plus the largest Circle in Thedas is located in Nevarra if I'm right, so that's something that's plot relevant I guess.--Agent047 (talk) 22:38, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

Leliana's bedroom. For my Warden's sake. But in all seriousness (though it is more than three locales), the arlathvhen, Kal Sharok, the White Spire and the Grand Cathedral (with chanting in the air).--173.167.21.19 (talk) 11:46, May 20, 2013 (UTC)

I second the first motion.--Lurooke Surana (talk) 03:57, May 22, 2013 (UTC)

I want to see where the stone supposedly lives. And The Grand Cathedral, but with smoke and fire in the air, and the White Spire --Did I ever tell you the definition of redundancy? 21:08, May 23, 2013 (UTC)

There are hundreds of candles, that's fire and smoke. The stone is an obejct, not a living creature. The only redundancy is see there is obsessive hatred to Chantry and giving too much credit to anarchy and expresing them both.78.8.134.170 (talk) 22:06, May 23, 2013 (UTC)

Val Royeaux Alienage, they say that sun shine there only briefly.

To all those why say there is no reason to add in Kal-Sharok as dwarves have nothing to do with the Templar-Mage war, I only have one word to say; lyrium. As for places to visit, I think the Dales are a given, but I would like to visit the Imperium. A mage-controlled society with it's own Chantry? How could they NOT include it somehow. —Preceding unsigned comment added by [[Special:Contributions/{{{1}}}|{{{1}}}]] ([[User talk:{{{1}}}|talk]])

Agreed. I would love to see the alienage in Val Royeaux, and elsewhere.--WardenWade (talk) 23:42, May 24, 2013 (UTC)

Oh look, Anonymous and spelling errors. Tug's edge says something about the stone living beneath Orlais. As did the Nexus Golem. Whether that means Kal-Sharok or not is speculation. I want to know. And the Chantry should burn, inserting nonsense about candles doesn't contribute and that last bit is my signature, and here it is again --Did I ever tell you the definition of redundancy? 20:49, May 24, 2013 (UTC)

You have no sense of humor, you write off topic and only thing that should be burned is you idiotic hatemongery propaganda. You act like an fanatical atheistic zealot, who treats everyone, who believes in any diety as a heretic, you're no differnet than communist police in Eastern Europe, you have no respect for other cultures by treating those who believe in deities as heretics. This page is about places in orlais to visit, that's no place to spread your warmongery propagada. Only reduncacy here is your obsessive hatemongery.78.8.109.201 (talk) 21:15, May 24, 2013 (UTC)
