I am on my 2nd character (first one is stalled after completing the 4 treaties until The Return of Ostagar is finally available) and after reading a little bit about the Landsmeet and was wondering if your character (not a human female noble) can still have the "relationship" with Alistair if he is made King? If so, must he be hardened during his personal quest or can you leave him with his regular mentality? I read somewhere that he can be King by himself without Anora as queen. Or is it only possible to continue the relationship if Alistair is not King? Thanks.

Yes, Alistair can become king without Anora - though he'll be unhappy about it if unhardened. I added eveything I know (not a massive amount!) about the consequences of hardenening or not hardening Alistair to the Result section of Alistair's Family the other day. That may help, and if anyone knows anything more then it would be great if they could expand that wiki page! --Zoev 23:47, January 12, 2010 (UTC)

Thank you, I did not look at that page and instead skimmed the last sections of the Landsmeet page where the possible endings were discussed. Though I saw some of the spoiler, I wanted to know my options first. When my character is close to the Landsmeet, I will save anyway just in case. My character is maxed at Coercion skill so there should be no problem with persuasion.68.55.37.68 00:03, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
