I was replaying DAII and after knowing what happened in Trespasser, suddenly Sandal's prophecy makes sense now:

One day the magic will come back. All of it. Everyone will be just like they were. The shadows will part, and the skies will open wide[...]When he rises, everyone will see.

At first I just assumed it was talking about the Breach, but now after the events of Trespasser, I think it is safe to assume that it was more about the Veil being completely destroyed and the return of the age of elves. And the 'he' was actually referring to Fen'Harel, not Corypheus. Magic713 (talk) 20:22, September 12, 2015 (UTC)

Now that I think about it, you might be right.--Unic of the borg (talk) 20:31, September 12, 2015 (UTC)

Well, shit. I also thought it was originally about Coryfishface, but damn...Bioware have been planning this for a bit.Phoenix96 (talk) 22:49, September 12, 2015 (UTC)

I believe it. He seems to have a better chance at fulfilling the prophecy than Cory did. Now all we have to do is find out who Sandal really is. Hm. 100.14.41.117 (talk) 03:48, September 15, 2015 (UTC)

Could he have a connection with the Titans? Random on my behalf, but it just got into my head. Though I don't know how that'd explain his premonitions and whatnot. It probably isn't anything more than an easter egg but did anyone else wonder what Sandal's journal was doing in the crossroads? Could that explain his absence for much of DAI? Has he been enchanting across the crossroads? XD. Lazare326 15:54, September 15, 2015 (UTC)
Flemeth did bother Sandal in his sleep. Right now I'd say he may be a pure like Valta was? I'm just wondering - Eleni Zinovia's prophecy about Legacy came true. Does that mean Solas will succeed? I know his goal has a cost too high to be worth it, but at the same time I'd love to see the lore change radically by severing the barrier between Fade and material world instead of keeping status quo.--ssalgnikool (talk) 16:23, September 15, 2015 (UTC)
Zinovia's prophecies always come true. But as far as we know this is the only Sandal prophecy, so its accuracy is unknown. Some of it has already come true, but the whole thing? I doubt it. Silver Warden (talk) 19:18, September 15, 2015 (UTC)
Let's just hope DA4 doesn't have 3 endings: merge with the fade, reinstate a veil or destroy the fade/magic permanently lol. I just hope Solas partially succeeds, and hopefully we won't be trumping him at every step. Lazare326 21:07, September 15, 2015 (UTC)
I'd like to hope that Bioware has learned from that mistake. I would like to see that near the end of the game, Solas actually begins the process and causes some huge world-changing event from his plan of removing the Veil (I'd like Sandal's prophecy to come to pass, though not in the destructive way Solas plans). I hope there are certain events with chances of success or fail that can shift the tide of the conflict against Solas. Magic713 (talk) 00:43, September 16, 2015 (UTC)
