Without any spoilers...how much game time, roughly, is the Landsmeet and Final Battle? Grey Warden David (talk) 16:59, September 7, 2011 (UTC)

The next story location you visit after completing the landsmeet is the opening to the final battle. Take care of any pressing buisness as you will very very soon cross the point of no return and be on a one way trip to the end of the game. The Green One (talk) 18:11, September 7, 2011 (UTC)

What I'm asking is...how long, roughly, is the Landsmeet and Final Battle? Grey Warden David (talk) 18:31, September 7, 2011 (UTC)

Well, since you and your party have to wait until the rest of the bannorn arrive to the city before the Landsmeet can start, and (depending on your actions) since you possibly spend a few days in Fort Drakon, I'm guessing that the Landsmeet possibly takes about a week or 2. As for the final battle, I'm guessing it takes like a full 2, 3 days; it probably wouldn't have taken as long if the darkspawn hadn't already invaded almost all of the city by the time you and your army get there, which takes about 3 days on foot. What I mean is...if I sat down to play through the Landsmeet and Final Battle...how long are we talking? Grey Warden David (talk) 18:45, September 7, 2011 (UTC)

I would say between 3 and 4 hours, depending on how quick you are with combat and how much support you have at the Landsmeet (with low support you may need to reload to find the appropriate arguments to make Loghain back down). After the Landsmeet you should also run around Denerim a bit to get Zevran's not-a-personal quest, and you probably have side quests to finish up, so 5 hours to be sure. If you simply blast your way through it (just to finish, before the rental period or weekend is over), with a computer that won't chug when dozens of folks and fire effects are on the screen, you could do it in an hour-and-a-half. You'll blunder directly into a lot of traps and ambushes, along the way, so a lower difficulty setting (and no interest in what TEEEgahn and others have to say) would probably be needed. True, however on a first playthrough you'll probably need a LOT of thinking time between the Landsmeet and Final Battle, because of a certain decision that must be made... Rushing in 1 1/2-2 hours is possible, but you ruin the game for yourself (at least if you think you'll ever have the opportunity to play it again in the future). Rushing through isn't how I'd play, either... but I've seen people do speed runs of StarCon 2, Diablo, Planescape: Torment, NetHack, and even text-adventure games in one sitting. "Argh! I didn't have my finger hovering over the ESC key to skip the cutscene fast enough?!?! That cost me at least half of a second!" Futonrevoltion (talk) 01:33, September 8, 2011 (UTC)
