The Architect. Established even before we met Corypimples that he isn't just a Darkspawn Emissary but a (possibly amnesiac) Primal Darkspawn/One Of Those Magisters. In retrospect of that, his outfit makes sense when compared to Corypenis: He also has big frilly Shoulders of Doom things, and his face is mutilated and fused with what was presumably headwear worn during the time he paid the price for intruding on in the Golden/Black City (I also recall hearing something in the Chant about them that talks about their mutilated faces).

What if Architect can resurrect like Corypumpus? I think that, if he does, it would be into one of his Disciples. They've undergone a sort of "Joining" to be Awakened that involves Gray Warden blood.

So, yes, it's been all but confirmed that The Architect was one of the Magisters Sideral, the seven magisters that stormed heaven's gate. Specifically, he is strongly suggested to have once been the high priest of Urthemiel, as Corypheus was the high priest of Dumat. It was said that Corypheus could transfer his soul into any Blighted creature, not just Grey Wardens. My guess is that Corypheus chose Wardens mostly out of vanity, not wanting to sully himself with common darkspawn. Though I believe that it was Morrigan that said this, so take that for what it's worth. If the Architect has the same power, it's possible he transferred himself into an awakened darkspawn, though he wouldn't have had to. It's also possible there are as many as five more of these jokers floating around Maker knows were in the Deep Roads. Luper567 (talk)

SPOILER WARNING FOR TRESPASSER

Solas says that Cory learned the "ancient secret of effective immortality". This implies that it is a technique which Cory knows, not a power he gained when he became a darkspawn. It's unlikely that the Architect knows it as well. Plus, Gaider basically said that a dead Architect is dead.

Also a the Codex entry: A Different Darkspawn? suggests that one of the Seven killed and ate another one, so that's at least two down, five to go. Silver Warden (talk) 00:06, April 19, 2016 (UTC)

When and where did Gaider say that a dead Architect is dead? Also, it is possible that when Coryphemit got deep-sixed by Hawke and Co, "woke up" in one of the Wardens, mentally went "Huh." at the unexpected turn, and then later figured out how to force his body jump victim into his original form. --MadCat221 (talk) 03:59, April 19, 2016 (UTC)
