As for the number of nasties that spawn around the only partially decomposed Ms Dryden, I've always had four of them (I think). --[[User:Vometia|vom]] 17:33, January 7, 2010 (UTC)

On Easy/Normal depending on the complexity of the fight even without a healer (have a health pots tho), put your tank in first, use any crowd control or focus fire you can easily defeat a Elite with a few other normal mobs with the 2 start abilities you begin with. Mobs level with you but there are some better abilities you have to level up for that make the game easier, once you have these maybe upgrade to Hard/Nightmare and/or solo.

How in h*ll do you beat the demon-possessed Sophia Dryden?! HOW?! She's slaughters my party each and every time! I've adjusted tactics, changed armors, weapons ... you name it, and nothing works!!! The broad and her four undead soldiers kill me 100 percent of the time.

That's another thing. The DAO Wiki says Sophia spawns with only *two* undead soldiers and is an "easy" battle. WTF ever! She spawns with *four* undead soldiers and is impossible to kill.

My god. I've had an easier time with revnants and that rage demon in the Keep. What am I missing? Do I need to retreat from the Warden's Keep mission entirely? Come back at a later time?

I'm utterly furious right now. I'm half-tempted to say the h*ll with DAO and get rid of the game. Don't get me wrong. The world is great — BUT I CAN'T ENJOY IT WHEN ALL I DO IS GET MY BUTTOCKS KICKED IN.

What difficulty level are you playing on? Also, what's the average level of your characters? Besides that, just bring Morrigan and freeze the lot with cone of cold or use crushing prison/paralysis, that should help you bring down anything in your way..

The first time I went to Wardens Keep this fight was difficult for me too. My tactic was to move the party out of the room and fight in the door way so only 1 creature at a time would come through. Spread you party out having Morgana face the door so that she can cast Cone of Cold freezing them in place. The other three party members will kill them quickly. "Come back later" is my usual approach to such situations! That gives time for both your character and you as a player to get a bit more experience: first time through, I suffered badly and had to turn the difficulty down to "easy". And often still suffered badly! But there are enemies you quickly learn you simply can't take on at low levels: for instance, I wouldn't want to tackle a revenant at less than level 15, certainly not if he's brought some of his slender buddies along to the fight such as fanged skeletons, and just recently I had to concede that I wasn't going to be able to bludgeon Loghain's men out of the way of Orzammar's entrance at level 6 (no, I wasn't going to ask them nicely!)

In the case of Sophia Dryden, I took her on at around level 10 on normal difficulty, but it's a personal thing: some people will walk it at lower levels, others will struggle at higher ones. If you can't manage, come back later (I assume that Warden's Keep allows you to do this, but it's worth checking that leaving doesn't have any "consequences").
