If the Lady of the Forest is really a different kind of spirit, not from the Fade, then DA universe has more mysteries do discover.[[Special:Contributions/78.9.145.88|78.9.145.88]] ([[User talk:78.9.145.88|talk]]) 12:51, April 28, 2013 (UTC)

I wondered on a certain thing.

Lady of the forest said "This is an old forest, mortal, and I am its spirit, its heart. I was not summoned from across the Fade, but pulled from the rocks, the trees and the very soil. I was then bound into the body of the wolf who became Witherfang: not possessing a host like a sylvan or one of the undead, but bound into a single being. But such a process could not have been accomplished without Zathrian's blood...a great deal of his blood. The curse and his life...are intertwined".

This can mean there are other kind of spirits, those who exist in world of motrals, not in their bodies but in the world they stomp on. They are not mentioned in books of Tevinter or any Theodosian scholars but in lost elven scrolls, Zathrian was one of few who had chance to encounter such spirit.

OMerrill said "We've never thought of the Fade as the home of our gods". Maybe Dalish deities are some kind of the spirits of nature and the Maker is a powerul fade spirit. OFF TOPIC BEGIN They were discovered by elven and human mages and they recognised them as their gods (To the anti-Chantry fanatics: the Maker isn't an imagination of the Chantry, the tales about the Golden City are older than Andraste or Grey Wardens. 1st Blight occured 2 centuries before the Chantry was found. Corypheus mentioned that he and his coulages were searching the Golden City). OFF TOPIC END.

Those spirits not from the Fade I write about have nothing in common with the Fade spirits, who are alien to them in exact meaning of this world. Connecting with such spirits requires an old forgotten magic known by Dalish Keeper like Zathrian. He was a blood mage, but I think that's something more and his blood was one of the sources to such magic not only source, it must be a magic older than Tevinter. No known magister made a curse as powerful as Zathrian, because he has a special knowladge about elven magic from times of Arlathan, not much about it but still something.

Have you ever considered in DA lore are spirits different than Fade spirits?78.8.133.142 (talk) 19:56, March 23, 2013 (UTC)

Not to bash your fine theory but the Lady of the Forest was summoned from the Fade. As many other spirits that exist in the physical realm but originally came from the Fade. Gaxgang existed in Thedas for who knows how long and yet he was from the Fade originally. There is NOTHING to prove that spirits come from some other place.

P.S. To pro-Chantry fanatics: "the Maker isn't an imagination of the Chantry, the tales about the Golden City are older than Andraste or Grey Wardens"

1. Gotta love the logic. The Golden City doesn't prove that the Maker exists. It might as well be Arlathan.
2. As you wrote yourself, "tales". Those tales are nothing but tales, they are not facts. -Algol- (talk) 17:50, March 24, 2013 (UTC)
Lady of the Forest said she didn't come from the Fade as refered to her words, why would she lie? Maker appears in stories about the golden city and Arlathan is ruins, not the City in the Fade. Those stories about the golden city are simply older than the Chantry and Andraste, my point was that they didn't imagine the golden city. Corypheus told that he was seeking the golden city, he lived before the 1st blight began, Andraste appeared 2 centuries later, the Chantry next 200 years later, so the stories about the Golden City existed before Andraste. 87.105.113.217 (talk) 20:31, March 24, 2013 (UTC)
Stories about the Golden City have nothing to do with the so-called Maker. Even if the city did exist, how does it prove that the Maker exists? Again, Corypheus was searching for the city and found one. He wasn't searching for any Makers and found none.
But I digress. Zathrian told that he "summoned a spirit from the Fade" and bound it to the body of a wolf. So yes, the Lady was originally from the Fade. Obviously, the mortal realm had it's effect on the spirit and influenced her very nature. But it didn't change her origin. -Algol- (talk) 18:13, March 25, 2013 (UTC)
Actually, he doesn't say she is from the Fade. He says she her nature is that of the forest but Zathrian never says she is from the Fade, instead his implication is that she is the spirit of the Forest. So there could be weight in the idea that not every spirit is from the Fade. --MichelleAnn85 (talk) 19:46, March 27, 2013 (UTC)

first of all id like to mention the forbidden ones how they are play such roles in The Dragon Age Scenario its Strange to think about them due to their involvement so far but i truthfully think Flemeth is possessed by the formless one and thats where Morrigan and the Warden maybe even Hawke went to Destroy the Creature in its own realm Chalka412 (talk)
