That's ridiculous to say Until We Sleep rules out the possibility of Alistair being Fiona's son. David Gaider even said that Maric wasn't around to know what was going on in the world while he was imprisoned. So it is possible that he only assumed that Alistair's mother was dead too. Also, you leave out the fact that Maric said that he and Alistair's mother tried to spare Alistair of the life of royalty. The same exact thing Fiona and Maric talked about at the end of The Calling. So no...Until We Sleep DOES NOT rule out the possibility of Alistair being the mystery child at the end of The Calling. I wish Gaider did finally answer that question! So that this debate can finally end. I'm starting to believe that it'll never be answered.--[[Special:Contributions/174.141.181.231|174.141.181.231]] ([[User talk:174.141.181.231|talk]]) 01:05, January 18, 2014 (UTC)

Any chance he will show up in Inquisition? I know some think it's Alistair, but even on Marics page it says there might be a 3rd child if he did show up what would you want his backstory class and fighting style to be? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Star Metal Knight (talkcontribs) 01:51, January 17, 2014‎

I believe Until We Sleep has finally ruled out the possibility that Fiona is Alistair's mother. Perhaps another companion? Or they could just say he died during the blight, though that would be a cheap way out.--Wsowen02 (talk) 03:02, January 17, 2014 (UTC)
Why was the possibility ruled out? Na via lerno victoria 03:09, January 17, 2014 (UTC)
Well, there is that line at the end of the issue #3, where Alistair is trying to convince Maric to leave the Fade with him and Maric says "I HAD a life. The people I love are all HERE -- Cailan, your mother, Loghain." Seems to indicate to me that she is dead. Though there very well may have been a debate about that I was not privy to, seems like that what's that means to me.--Wsowen02 (talk) 06:15, January 17, 2014 (UTC)
That's debatable. It's not like Maric could go see Fiona in the real world, but in the fade he can at least have the illusion.--Liam Sionnach (talk) 11:21, January 17, 2014 (UTC)
And Maevaris also saw her deceased husband. In the Fade, your memories become "real", irrelevant of whether this person still lives in the mortal world or not. Na via lerno victoria 11:36, January 17, 2014 (UTC)

Companion character would be good, especially if Fiona is an enemy/ally in the game. I'd say make him a mage. Believe it! (talk) 22:15, January 17, 2014 (UTC)
