... and I feel awful. I'm trying to do a truly evil playthrough, but I still couldn't bring myself to not tell him it would be over quickly. For those of you who have tried this option, what was your reaction, gut and otherwise?Sarkadark (talk) 19:04, February 16, 2011 (UTC)

I killed him the first time I played. I didn't feel bad about it at first, considering that Alistair said something about how he was an abomination and we may need to kill him. I don't remember him objecting at the time, but then later in camp, he totally yelled at me! I was like, 'What?! You said we should do it'. This made me feel bad and it also made me mad since I thought it was the best option (I didn't know both Connor and Isolde could live if you get the Circle's help). Stupid Alistair. The only way to please him is to go out of your way to get the Circle's help. I don't feel bad about killing Isolde though... she's annoying. XIII Lightning (talk) 19:29, February 16, 2011 (UTC)

I know what you mean I always play games like my character is me and I feel bad when I do bad actions but I just think it makes the experience better. King of the Dusters (talk) 19:40, February 16, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I remember the first time I tried an evil Fable playthrough, I would buy from traveling merchants and forget to kill them, leading to me running through the forest screaming "WAIT! Come back! I forgot to kill you!" I'm not very good at being evil.Scythev (talk) 19:46, February 16, 2011 (UTC)ScytheV

Though Alistair yells at you louder if you do Jowan's ritual. He is more gob-smacked if you kill Connor, quiet and shocked, but with Isolde he just yells, saying that you should have "tried harder". It's ironic because one of the dialogue options, if you killed Connor, to say to Alistair is "Are you saying I should have used Blood Magic? You?" in which he says that you should have let Isolde sacrifice herself because she started it all. ValerianCousland (talk) 19:54, February 16, 2011 (UTC)

Interestingly enough, my Warden could have killed Connor but she did not. My Warden AW/BM prides herself on her intelligence and ability to creatively figure scenarios out. She also thoroughly explored the Desire Demon (DD) controlling Connor, so she has an affinity for demons Hell, she even let the DD in Honnolith possess the child for both their benefit, and the Circle Tower DD have a new life with the ensorcelled templar. So in short, she figured out a better way that benefitted not only Connor, but herself and her desires as well. In her eyes, knowing what she knew about demonology, there was no logical reason to slay Connor, especially none that would benefit her. Warden Satori (talk) 20:41, February 16, 2011 (UTC)

My Warden couldn't ever bring himself to kill Connor. He let Isolde do it once, because she asked him to... I think that was actually worse to watch. :( --74.240.118.175 (talk) 20:52, February 16, 2011 (UTC)

I've killed Connor many times and felt nothing for his death. I use it as a punishment to his mother for letting Jowan teach him magic. Robbloodwarden (talk) 21:46, February 16, 2011 (UTC)

Jesus Christ...if all of us had to pay for our parents' mistakes, there wouldn't be many people left in the world. I only killed Connor once, and I hated myself for it. Skahaggus7 (talk) 22:14, February 16, 2011 (UTC)
