They're a bit silly, but I'm really am curious about them. After replaying through Origins again, it made think a bit.

1. Non-Human noble dog's = Grey Warden? I'm serious. The dog other races/backgrounds ends up with is poisoned by the taint right? Was giving the dog that flower remedy a form of the joining? @_@ Will your dog eventually die??

2. Was "Hawke" Malcolm real last name? After hearing the name sounds "very Felrelden" in the DA2 a lot of times, it made me think about that. Malcolm and Leandra met in Kirkwall, so I'm assuming he's from Kirkwall. And that brings me to...

3. How did Leandra met Malcolm in the first place. She was noble's daughter and old boy was in the circle tower? Or did I miss something in the game?

4. How much fabric does it take to make mage robes for Qunari? I JUST noticed like last week that there Qunari mages in DAO during Leliana's personal quest. Has anyone brought Sten along for this? Does he say anything about it?

5. Depending on your actions as Warden (sexy ritual, letting the Architect live) shouldn't the order be looking for YOUR AZZ instead of Anders?

6.On my Xbox version of DA2, Isabela's skin looks...dirty. Not because she's dark, but it just looks like she has particles clinging to her skin. And, she does talk about bathing when speaking to her in party. DOES SHE BATHE ON A REGULAR BASIS?

7. Why is Merrill the only other person who actually owns a home?

And, I'm done. High Kicks (talk) 00:45, June 2, 2011 (UTC)

1. Probably not a Warden. The Joining involves a ritual which needs lyrium and several other components beside darkspawn blood.

2. Malcolm was a Fereldan, but he was on the run, constantly moving from nation to nation.

3. Malcolm and Leandra probably met by chance while he was hiding in Kirkwall. This codex entry gives some background.

4. Sten doesn't say anything about it. And (just because I'm feeling pedantic :p), those weren't Qunari. They've abandoned the Qun so they become Tal-Vashoth.

5. The Orlesian Wardens ask questions immediately after the final battle, but Alistair/Secret Companion/The Warden just play dumb. If you spare the Architect, the Orlesian Wardens are pretty angry, and try hunting him. They find nothing however.

6. Probably not. She's a pirate, so life on the sea in Medieval times didn't really involve hygiene. Old habits die hard, and Isabela doesn't seem like the sort of girl who'd care about looking dirty. Also, it might just be the ruddiness of her cheeks from all the drink.

7. Aveline's home comes with the job. Fenris' mansion is technically a home even if it isn't his by law. Anders prefers to keep out of sight, owning a house would draw too much attention. Isabela probably just rents a permanent room at the Hanged Man (same goes for Varric). Bethany/Carver don't have a home for obvious reasons. Sebastian probably has his own quarters in the Chantry.

Hope that put your mind at rest :) King Cousland (talk) 00:59, June 2, 2011 (UTC)

Oh! LOL Yes, that did help quite a bit. Thank you! And, yeah! I forgot, they aren't qunari. I wanted to word it different, but I forgot how to spell er, *copypasta* Tal-Vashoth.

I remember seeing the Orlesian Wardens asking Your Warden/Secret Companion/Alister and them playing dumb. Also, is it me or do the Wardens from Orlais have some sorry luck?High Kicks (talk) 01:08, June 2, 2011 (UTC)

O_O Massive wall of questions is massive LOL!! As for the question about your mabari possibly being a warden, it is possible that he is one. After all, in the novel the Calling, the group of Grey wardens that went with Maric into the Deep Roads had a dog companion with them, and his owner (a grey warden) even tells Maric that the dog IS considered a Warden, telling him that "humans aren't the only ones who can become wardens". Simply put, if an animal gets too much darkspawn blood in them, but survives, they are considered Grey wardens, since they become immune to the taint. And yeah.. Orlesian wardens have VERY shitty luck. After all, if you play one in Awakening, in the epilogue it says that there is the possibility of another blight in Orlais lol I can see it now "...and all around Orlais all that could be heard in the skies above was an ominous cry of "FUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCK!" XD Sevarian10 (talk) 05:37, June 2, 2011 (UTC)Sevarian10

Keeping with their accent, it'd probably be more "FUUUUUUUUUUQQQQEEEEEE!" Their luck is so crappy it's all upon them to lift the DA series back up after DA2. That makes Ferelden the luckiest, I suppose. Or would that be the Anderfels, for having a cameo appearance with Duncan/Fade beast's endorsement? Personally, I think the Korcari Wilds are the most awesome purely because that was the home to Morrigan...and Flemeth, I guess. /Siderant. Thank you for indulging me. 1. Non-Human noble dog's = Grey Warden? I'm serious. The dog other races/backgrounds ends up with is poisoned by the taint right? Was giving the dog that flower remedy a form of the joining? @_@ Will your dog eventually die??

- in The Calling it's mentioned that one of their Mabari is practically a Grey Warden because of this. it's not quite the same as undergoing the Joining but I think I remember that his dog could sense Darkspawn. I'd imagine an Ostagar Mabari would be similar

3. How did Leandra met Malcolm in the first place. She was noble's daughter and old boy was in the circle tower? Or did I miss something in the game?

- it's implied that the mages had a bit more freedom back then than they do in DA2, so they probably met while Malcolm was outside the tower, perhaps he was manning one of the stalls there (under Meredith's rule mostly only the Tranquil are allowed to do that but even then there's occasional mages hanging around) when Leandra was shopping, or perhaps she was visiting one of her relatives, remember there's a few mages in the Amell family 5. Depending on your actions as Warden (sexy ritual, letting the Architect live) shouldn't the order be looking for YOUR AZZ instead of Anders?

- the Wardens are interested in how a Dark Ritual Warden survived but after several years of not finding out they probably gave it up. even so, once the Warden does go missing they'd be looking but that hasn't happened yet judging by dialogue in Act 3. just because the Warden is no long at Amaranthine (leading to Anders problems with the new Commander) doesn't mean he/she vanished, they were reassigned or went back to Denerim or shacked up with Leliana/Zev/Alistair or went looking for Morrigan or back to Orzammar or so on...

6.On my Xbox version of DA2, Isabela's skin looks...dirty. Not because she's dark, but it just looks like she has particles clinging to her skin. And, she does talk about bathing when speaking to her in party. DOES SHE BATHE ON A REGULAR BASIS?

- in that kind of setting people weren't as hygienic as people are (or should be) these days. in some places/times bathing was even considered an expensive luxury and Isabela's hardly living in riches.

7. Why is Merrill the only other person who actually owns a home?

- Varric owns a home but avoids it like the plague. Isabela never planned on staying long. Fenris is first baiting Danarius and later just unable to move on (you can help him to decide to but he doesn't get around to it), Anders presumably lives in or near his clinic, Aveline has a home but being a workaholic spends more time at work, Sebastian probably stays at the Chantry. Rayvio (talk) 07:29, June 2, 2011 (UTC)

There aren't Qunari mages in DAO at all. In Leliana's quest, there are some Qunari mercs(techincally Tal-Vashoth, but it's just easier to type Qunari), but none of them are mages. The mages in that quest are all humans. --CommanderCousland (talk) 17:54, June 2, 2011 (UTC)

No, the mages in the quest are definately Tal-Vashoth. King Cousland (talk) 17:59, June 2, 2011 (UTC)
