My rouge is having a tough time surviving battles - what is the solution? wear medium armor or stay light, add DEX and try to avoid enemies? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.15.124.166 (talk) 20:27, 12 October 2013‎

I suggest to increase dodge chance, so invest DEX to unlock Evasion. You can also invest in CUN to learn Master Stealth and use it when situation is getting thought, then you can use granades. Another way is learning Ranger talents to summon more allies. Only good medium armor for rogue is Ancient Elven Armor Set, armors ith higher tier are havier and makes you invest in STR, what isn't always needed by Rogue as much as by warrior. 78.8.132.139 (talk) 20:49, October 12, 2013 (UTC)StubbornMageSlayer

Personally, I'd go with light armor and max out your DEX. My archer rogue had something like 70+ Dex by the time she reached the level cap and enemies could almost never hit her even when they managed to get close enough to try. It was actually how I managed to beat the Harvester on Nightmare for the achievement. 67.60.72.70 (talk) 20:24, October 13, 2013 (UTC)

More DEX, more backstab, more stun moves, more healing, more stealth, more DPS. Believe it! (talk) 22:52, October 13, 2013 (UTC)

You can also build (though it requires some dedication and planning) a Strength based Rogue who jogs around in heavy armor and either wields dual swords/axes enchanted for defense (the fact you're dual wielding generally compensates for any dps loss) or even a two-hander. A heavily armored rogue with one of the unique greatswords/battleaxes/mauls can inflict some fantastic backstabs with those monstrosities. YGuy (talk) 15:51, October 14, 2013 (UTC)

Personally, I recommend not playing as a type of makeup or the color red ----Isolationistmagi 02:09, October 15, 2013 (UTC)

Yep. My first thought upon seeing the topic was, "Buy waterproof?" Dorquemada (talk) 09:18, October 15, 2013 (UTC)

Which game? Origins or DA2? My personal style is that I modify each character in 3 attributes alone. All of the rogues points go into Strength, Dexterity, and Cunning if I want them to wield swords, or Dexterity, cunning, and constitution if I want them to be archers.DeadpoolN7 (talk) 15:25, October 18, 2013 (UTC)
