I was curious, in Mark of the Assassin we learn that Quanari is a religion and not a race, Sten looks nothing like "Quanari" in DA2 so my questions are:
1) What race are the horned quanari? 2) What race was Sten from DA1?

1) The horned race that is generally refered to as Qunari are called "Kossith" or Racial slur is "Ox men".
2) Sten is also a Kossith but born without horns (not a defect but considered special) and he has a tan.

Sten was originally designed with horns but was later removed due to graphical errors during programing. Also, Hornless Qunari are said to be the ones sent to act as human diplomats, as they don't look as domineering as Qunari with horns.
Q-U-N-A-R-I. It's QUNARI. If I see Quanari one more time... I don't know yet. But could we please use the proper spelling? It's driving me crazy.

It's Qunari, not Quanari
Considering that Sten's page says he is a member of the "Qunari race", shouldn't that be changed to read "Kossith race and Qunari faith" since Qunari isn't a race but a religion? 62.107.36.202 (talk) 13:26, November 3, 2011 (UTC)
