- Has there been any discussion of a "Featured Article" section Tierrie? Also how about having concept art or screenshots from DA:O & DA2 for their icons on the landing page? Just a thought.

- Portal:Component/FeaturedArticle exists. We took it off after Origins was released. Based on the analytics and feedback we found that there was very little interest in Featured Articles. The main reasons was because the articles were no updated often, and because the articles were of little relevance.
- We realized that the browsing habits of a gamer is significantly different from those visiting Wikipedia. Because of this have more gaming oriented components such as forums, news, and twitter instead of longer ones like significant historical events or featured artifcles -- tierrie talk contr 07:16, October 29, 2014 (UTC)

- I wonder if that's the case only on Dragon Age Wiki, as I have seen at least two other gaming wikis (Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect) having featured articles. Then again I don't even know how the feature itself works (like why does it pick a certain article and things like that). --

- Feature Article is included by default on every wiki. Some wikis don't reevaluate their front page: whether or not certain features should be included or not. We did and the conclusion is stated above.
- Functionally, Featured Article selects from a list of articles that needs to be summarized. Similar to how featured images and quotes. However, as articles, the blurbs requires an editor to summarize to fit in the idea of a featured article.
