I'd enjoy if in DAI the Inquisitor had mabari, but I'd be more satisfied if other pets appeared in the game. I'd like to have a falcon, which spies for me and sends messages to my allies and friends. What pet other than mabari would you like to have and for what purpose?78.9.152.164 (talk) 19:45, May 28, 2013 (UTC)Just call me Dalish fan

Maybe a special abilities werecat? I love cats, am a feline person :) Dog is awesome, or some mythical creatures like pixies will be fun too 202.156.13.225 (talk) 14:17, July 3, 2013 (UTC) ilkar

Halla? I wouldn't want a generic pet (one that you could have in the real world), and that's about the only suitable thedosian animal I can think of. Also, those horns probably hurt. TheTeaMustFlow (talk) 19:51, May 28, 2013 (UTC)

Magister made and inteligent dog, he could make a smart falcon too.78.9.152.164 (talk) 21:34, May 28, 2013 (UTC)

I'd like a pet schleet, that sneaks up on the enemy and eats their eyeballs. Gruedragon (talk)

In the World of Thedas book there was an animal called Great Wolf (i don't recall it preciselly). Now THAT would be a great pet!Emilia Da'len (talk) 23:11, May 28, 2013 (UTC)

I want a bird too, but maybe a crossed eyed parrot on my shoulder with a peg wing and a little pirate hat that likes to shout obscenities at my enemies. He could also generally make inappropriate remarks at the most inopportune times and places. This would greatly increase my desire for DA3 alone, not to mention increase re-playability. I'd like a griffin or a nug. The griffin could be a companion and the nug could be dinner (or vice verse). Crimpycracker (talk) 00:44, May 29, 2013 (UTC)

Only the griffons name was feathers :-) Oh! a deep stalker cause who doesn't want a tiny raptor running about chomping your enemies ankles off --Tabris.the.great (talk) 01:06, May 29, 2013 (UTC)

Pet dragon maybe? I'd call him Perseus :) Marauder 09 FoC cover I can make the Black Sun look like a Swoop Gang. 03:28, May 29, 2013 (UTC)

Nugs are cute but they would be useful to inflitration if trained hard.156.17.71.249 (talk) 08:34, June 6, 2013 (UTC)

A bronto.78.8.139.140 (talk) 22:14, June 6, 2013 (UTC)

I'd like a pet other than a dragon, that woulnd't be anything special.78.8.135.102 (talk) 13:29, June 15, 2013 (UTC)

I got it: Dalish companion, she gets you a pet varterral! :D Failing that, a pet halla to carry your loot. RShepard227 (talk) 15:24, June 15, 2013 (UTC)

Spirit hog, maybe the first dachshund Grey Warden. Captain breakfast (talk) 18:40, June 15, 2013 (UTC)

Anyone else think that Ser-Pounce-A-Lot should make a comeback ;)?--LilMissUnTalented (talk) 22:07, June 15, 2013 (UTC)

I want a griffon, like seriously. Or maybe even a little dragonling. --Nolanie (talk)

I would like a snake, and it doesn't have to be poisonous.--KCMueller (talk) 19:14, July 5, 2013 (UTC)

Snake could serve as a spy or a searcher or a decoy or a distraction (to fear foes, because snake poisonous or not scares people and most of them are too ignorant to see difference between poisonous and non-poisonous serpents).78.8.10.229 (talk) 20:00, July 5, 2013 (UTC)

How about a wyvern? One of those would probably be easier to get a hold of than a full-on dragon, Leopold shows they can be trained and even used as mounts, and they'd look really impressive if you came riding in on one. Of course, you probably would only be allowed to use it in combat at certain points or with a cooldown rate or something, unless it was a young wyvern. One about the size of a halla or a horse would probably do. --UrLeingod (talk) 09:28, July 8, 2013 (UTC)

A pet Archdemon. That's an absolute minimum requirement. -- Marvin Arnold (talk) 09:26, July 10, 2013 (UTC)

After seeing all the screenshots, does anyone else notice a ton of crows/ravens. One of the more recent screen shots is actually of what appears to be the Inquisitor with a crow resting on his shoulder. I'm thinking we might get a messenger crow as a pet, not to mention the horse they've shown the inquisitor riding. What do you guys think? User aci1985

Lets See a Pet black leopard would be kind of fun to have for stealth gameplay, or Ravens/Eagles to confuse enemies. Not really a bird or cat person I perfer dogs but not to fond of hairless dogs.VampireBlood03 (talk) 03:15, August 26, 2013 (UTC)

I don't want just one pet. I want the ability to go out into the wild and capture animals (bear, bronto, deepstalker, dog, spider, rad, Halla, Nug, wolf and any other animal I forgot) to be tamed. With the ability to have one of each and able to customize them (with armor and markings and such). And have taming them a process, where over time you have to earn their trust, and if you abuse them (even after being tamed) they either go crazy and attack those where they are or just run off. Note: Animals summoned by the Ranger should not be able to be captured (I don't mean the type of animal, just the specific animal)--Clee1989 (talk) 19:37, August 27, 2013 (UTC)

Combat animals are more useful than pets decorating houses.78.9.148.79 (talk) 12:29, November 2, 2013 (UTC)

Sorta creepy but a pet spider would be cool for sneaky kills or maybe a pet bat. I would be happy to just keep my mabari though.LadyMabari (talk) 03:07, November 27, 2013 (UTC)LadyMabariLadyMabari (talk) 03:07, November 27, 2013 (UTC)
