I may not be the only one worried about what kind of PC we have in DA3. It always plays on my mind that we will get a Hawke style PC and nothing like what we had in Origins. Anywho put down your thoughts about the new PC in DA3 and any concerns you may have. 203.45.127.20 (talk) 03:11, October 19, 2012 (UTC)Darkside

Apparently we are going to play as an inquisitor in Orlais. So i think it will be another Hawke style human. Bioware doesn't seem to care about their games anymore, just about finishing them quick and selling to the mainstream market.

I don't care about mages or templars, I want Dalish to become independent and strong, I want to be a Dalsih elf in DA3 like I was in DAO. I also want to destroy Tevinter and stop their slavery, I don't care if it's impossible, I still desire to do it.

I want origins back, it was fun being dalish and annoying the priests by saying " does he burn down the homes of those who don't accept his blessing, seriously though Guild wars 2 lets yo choose your first two quest lines then almost every other on theirs a choice of what you want to do. --Halisme (talk) 20:48, October 19, 2012 (UTC)

Wouldn't be interesting, if PC of DA3 could be manipulative? Instead of siding with one of 2 hated character, PC could make them destroy each other by manipulation. The most spectacular intrigue would be summoning a powerful demon to possess Fiona or knight Vigilant or Justinia V just to show commoners who shouldn't be supported.

I would love to be a Dwarf in DA3. Seeing how cool Varric was, I really missed being a dwarf in DA2. Also, Inquisition doesn't really sound appealing at all. It kinda feels like you are being forced to be a pawn of the chantry from the start. I want to be in an independent group, able to choose which side I take without any pressure from the organization. The title sounds like a central organisation, it can be your ally or foe just like Branka titular character of quest "Paragon of her kind". I'd like to be like this prologue and 1st chapter belongs to chosen origin, later character has to join the inquistion, but if you rather support mages you could be a double agent. I have no problem with working for the Inquisition, because I have enough of this war and I rather assassinate every war hungry leader on both sides of conflict than support anyone. I don't care who's right or wrong, I just want end this war.

Being a dwarf again would be great, but I honestly didn't hate playing as Hawke. I am interested in just about every faucet of DA be it, mages fighting templars, Orzammar fighting Kal-Sharak, Orlais fighting itself, or whatever. a chance to influence on side or another is my favorite part of bioware games. but back to the PC I think we are almost garenteed origins again based on player outrage... and if some of the leaks I have read are correct the PC is gathering the inquisition to stop not only the mage-templar war, but to save the world from destroying itself. But I can't really see why a Dalish, a surface dwarf, a kossith, or an apostate would want to involve themselves in such global matters... so I guess the real question is what kind of Origins will there be?
