I've been watching the interviews of the dev team at PAX and I've heard terrible news. Sandal, our resident drooling lyrium-addled moron, is back, according to David Gaider who said "Of course Sandal is back, it wouldn't be a DA game without Sandal." Please, why do we have to have this moron? I hate his constant cries of ENCHANTMENT! --Warden Of The Dales (talk) 02:43, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

News Flash! Warden of the Dales found, body mangled, head crushed! Coroner states the cause of death as...."ENCHANTMENT!" Icon wink LVTDUDE (talk) 02:52, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

Very funny, you should do stand-up. --Warden Of The Dales (talk) 02:54, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

BURN THE WITCH! Sandal will put a enchantment up your ass this night! -- Rocketai (talk · contr) 02:55, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

Oh great, he has fans. How? He has only 3 different responses. What's to like? --Warden Of The Dales (talk) 02:58, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

Actually...has anyone noticed if Sandal sounds different in Witch Hunt? As in they found someone to replace Sandal.... Its weird, he sounds different, there isn't a way to describe, other than that. And come on, who didn't like Sandal in Origins? He's Dragon Age's very own Ralph Wiggum, a very special Dwarf. --Madasamadthing (talk) 03:00, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

Yes I noticed. My hatred of him lessened 1/100000000. I hate Ralph Wiggum too. --Warden Of The Dales (talk) 03:01, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

I don't know who Ralph Wiggum is, but I like Sandal because he is speshul. -- Rocketai (talk · contr) 03:05, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

Rocketai...you don't know who Ralphie is? That's unpossible! And anyway, Sandal is funny, especially when he make Templars uncomfortable with innocent, yet utterly inappropriate comments.

Warden of the Dales, if you don't like Sandal, don't talk to him, or at least turn the volume down when you do. --Madasamadthing (talk) 03:10, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

Ahhhhh!! Ralph Wiggum! I remember now! Yus! Sandal reminds a little Ralph, but he is more... Badass, since he killed all those darkspawn on Fort Drakon. How dumb of me to forget. -- Rocketai (talk · contr) 03:13, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

What do have against sandal he is like a Dragon age version of TIMMY! livinalah timmah!--Gdubs (talk) 03:52, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

What capacity do you think Sandal would have in DA2 anyway? I mean, for the first year or so, he spends pretty much every waking moment in the Warden's camp... then you have to think that before the blight was over, the main character in DA2 was already out of Ferelden... which leaves a relatively minor chance of Sandal catching up late in the game... the most likely scenario would seem to be that the two briefly cross paths in Lothering, then go their separate ways, Sandal following the Warden, and Hawke leaving the country... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Black Moon Destiny (talkcontribs) 04:33, September 19, 2010

One problem with that, DA2 only starts during Origins, it keeps going for 10 years afterward. So once Witch Hunt happens in the timeline, Sandal is free to travel to Kirkwall or whatever. I have to say though, I preferred the old voice, the new one broke my heart. :c Tyranno Ex (talk) 11:01, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

That was my point... Yes, I'm aware that DA2 only *starts* during origins, but the overlap means that Hawke is in a different country... the chances of these two people running into each other outside of Lothering is incredibly small... especially considering that Hawke left during the blight, and Witch Hunt took place one year after the blight... Hawke has a pretty good head start there, and there are a lot of people in the world... I'm just saying the chances of Sandal having a major role in DA2 doesn't seem very significant... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Black Moon Destiny (talkcontribs) 16:03, September 19, 2010

ENCHANTMENT!!! P.S. who ever did the comment above me should sign it.--Yash7 (talk) 17:09, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

There is a button "history", if you what to know so much - [ 16:03, September 19, 2010 Black Moon Destiny ]

I wanted not to see Bodahn the marauder and his idiot son from first meeting...but all DA:O they were at camp, they were in Redkliff, Sandal was in Fort Dragon and even in dlc. Nothing make me more angree, than them. 91.192.191.221 (talk) 17:29, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

Eh not really, Sandal could easily end up in Kirkwall, 10 years is a long time. They may have meant he has a cameo in Lothering, or he may end up in Kirkwall at a later date, nothing is stopping him after Witch Hunt, just because Hawke was there first doesn't mean he won't end up there was well and at the same time as Hawke. 71.68.42.2 (talk) 20:05, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

I can't wait to see Sandal back! Every time he says 'enchantment' or his funny little 'hello!' I giggle like mad. I would quite like to see if BioWare decide to give Sandal any new words or maybe explain his history a little more, like that thing with the darkspawn at Fort Drakon. Can't wait to see how Hawke meets him - roll on enchantment! StormTalons (talk) 20:54, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

I didn't say it was impossible, merely unlikely thinking in realistic terms... Considering the popularity of the character, Bioware could easily put him in Kirkwall... My main point in pointing out the timeline overlap is the fact that assuming that Sandal would have more than a cameo or two borders on illogical... As I said before, the most likely scenario would be that Hawke and Sandal more than likely briefly crossed paths in Lothering... I was fuming when I read the title I though it ment no more enchantments or sandle. Rock on you dwarfy dwarf rock on.--IceStar100 (talk) 21:59, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

SANDAL! ENCHANTMENT! TIMMY!--Gdubs (talk) 23:34, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

Why oh why pick on the cutest little dwarf in the whole game? I mean really he is soooo adorable and cute you just want to pick him up and hug the stuffings out of him. Sam_Death (talk)08:57, September 20, 2010 (UTC)

Okay, I'm not against Sandal being in the game, I just wonder why that warrants "It's not a DA game without Sandal" from Gaider, yet they can take away my ability to be an elf without so much as shedding a tear.

How stupid translaters are! In my version (if I transtale Sandal words back to english) he said - MAGIC, ENCHANTMENT, SORCERY and CHARMS! How they could make all this from 1 (!) word?!

Next time I will download english version or order it online, but never buy any dvd with "translated" one. 91.192.191.221 (talk) 16:05, September 20, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, seriously. Sandal must be the most awesome NPC in the whole game. Everytime he says a single word, me and my brother laugh like hell. Like StormTalons said, it would be interesting to know more about him. Sandal as party member for DA2!!! -- Rocketai (talk · contr) 18:38, September 20, 2010 (UTC)

And main character for DA3! The Bard From Hell (talk) 19:48, September 20, 2010 (UTC)

Rocketai, agreed, he is the best NPC ever. When I first started playing, I remember my brother making fun of him and I jokingly said that Sandal would turn out to be the most badass character in the game. And then we get to the end of the game, and there's the scene where all the bodies are around him, and I looked like a prophet haha. (Additionally, how did he get to Denerim?) I totally agree, he should be a companion in the sequel. The game would be much more fun. Sophirim (talk) 17:36, September 26, 2010 (UTC)

Dude... HE'S GONNA BE THE HUGE EPIC SERIES END BOSS!!!!!! :D and then we'll all die cuz he's that badass --Xiorath (talk) 03:25, October 7, 2010 (UTC)

He simply says "Enchantment", transforms into the Sta-Puft Marshmallow Man and stomps your characters into oblivion. LVTDUDE (talk) 03:30, October 7, 2010 (UTC)

One heck of a way to die... wait, Oblivion?! First darkspawn, now daedra, just great. --Xiorath (talk) 03:41, October 7, 2010 (UTC)

Well! Someones and ableist!!!--69.179.245.153 (talk) 03:58, October 7, 2010 (UTC)

I have to agree with Warden Of The Dales, Sandel is freaking irritating and I was tired of him the first time I saw him. Ralph Wiggum is so much more, and even Timmy!!! has his moments. Sandel however is... lame. I can see no other way to describe him. He is if I may quote Comic Book Guy: "worst character - EVER"-rphb- (talk) 17:27, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
