I think that if pulled off really well the wheel MIGHT just MIGHT work out. It's unlikely but possible. 99.225.28.22 (talk) 02:27, November 27, 2013 (UTC)

I am glad my character talks but had that blighted wheel that doesn't say what it says it would. Hope that they try to improve it. Agree, I miss persuading people

Yes. This x1,000. My second biggest complaint about DA2 is that damned dialogue wheel. I don't mind voiced PCs, but limiting the dialogue to that stupid wheel forces Hawke's personality into one of three choices. The wheel's back for DAI...maybe they'll do better this time, but I won't keep my hopes up.

Oh, and what worked for ME won't necessarily work for DA. Bioware made that mistake in DA2...it felt like Hawke was supposed to be DA's version of Shepard. And it failed. Comedian Hawke (middle option) is okay but the other two options are just hollow goody-goody/badass stereotypes. --Silver Warden (talk) 05:33, November 27, 2013 (UTC)

Well, there were some options depending on skills and past options. Maybe when they decide to re-release those games we can hope. I wouldn't ask much just some added scenes that could happen based on prior skills and choices. Like a "Rightful Heir" option for the Orzammar main quest and not losing a party member. I just feel like having completely satisfactory endings.--Mike Gilbert 19:46, November 28, 2013 (UTC)

Forums: Index > Game DiscussionMore compromise options
Note: This topic has been unedited for 3793 days. It is considered archived - the discussion is over. Do not continue it unless it really needs a response.

All I'm saying is that we should have at least had more compromise options added in the games under the right skills, charisma, and choices. Such as we can use the Circle's help in saving Connor and curing the werewolves, we should at least use the intimidate and persuade options to talk the Paragons to help decide the Anvil's fate and the kingly succession. I don't expect options for The Last Straw, but at least options for the best possible future for Thedas.--Mike Gilbert 12:34, November 20, 2013 (UTC)

Past games have already their own stories and there is nothing to be done with. We can only hope for more options you mention in future games, but not in DAI, there is that cursed dialogue wheel that limits your choices and choices in that game ar ebinary, there is no compromise, journalists stripped me of all illusions that there is. You're with one group or another, there are no shades of grey.62.87.247.39 (talk) 12:41, November 20, 2013 (UTC)

@YGuy, how could you be under impression, when there is nothing extraordinary to be impressed by? Do you have such low requirements?78.8.105.206 (talk) 08:35, November 22, 2013 (UTC)
Learn the language goddamit before making an ass of yourself quite spectacularly. "I was under the impression" means "I thought" or "It seemed to me".
