The mage could also be a double agent infiltrating the Chantry in order to bring it down from the inside. The trailer suggests that you can either choose to help save the world or lead it to its end. Believe it! (talk) 13:44, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

:There also can be reverse situation, an inquisitor mage infiltratring the rebel mages to gather informations for his supervisors in the Chantry. Different opinions can appear in every head.78.8.148.255 (talk) 15:45, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

Does it take a non-mage to realize that Fiona and Adrian are unreasonable/insane or realize that there might be more going on?--almostinsane (talk) 19:25, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

So it's recently occurred to me that if you chose to play a mage in Inquisition that the you would be a mage and inquisitor at the same time,or maybe even a mage at the head of the inquisition, how exactly would that work? GarettTheBoy (talk) 06:05, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

We're not sure yet what Inquisition is. It doesn't have to be an organisation founded to stop the mage-templar war. From what we know, the Inquisition will investigate the tear in the Veil seen in the trailer. And for that, a mage is perfect. Henio0 (talk) 06:24, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

A mage would be awesome for the job as Inquisitor. Can't wait for the horrorfide gasps of templars and they who threaten to swoop down upon you when they come to realization that you are the very thing they hate and hunt; a mage. --AbovexReality (talk) 06:51, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

Among mage are those, who prefer to work for the Chantry and think that the war is wrong. There are also fretilities of mages, who don't care about anything but profits, lucrosians, they prefer to use magic for money and researches. Everyone can have own opinion and there can be mages, who rather be chantry loyalists because they think that's correct. The rebel mages can see the mas traitors as Fiona saw Wynne for having different opinion. If some templars sympathise with mages, there also can be mages, who sympathise with the templars. Different opinions are everywhere. Also the mage Inquisitor can feel working for a secrect organisation is more fascinating or such inquisitor can feel to be better than mages beyond the organisation. Nothing stops players from thinking that way nor from thinking otherwise.78.8.148.255 (talk) 17:44, June 13, 2013 (UTC)
