I wouldn't mind touring around Ostagar again. This place has stood the test of time and war. Revisiting the first battlefield of the Fifth Blight would be quite interesting. Freakium (talk) 01:48, July 17, 2014 (UTC)

It's hard to find a good place in Thedas to go to when so much may have changed through out the decade long time period, the fact that Ferelden and Orlais are the only confirmed countries so far, and that Thedas may not be a desirable place to live at. Not only because it's medieval, but it's incredibly grayer than the world of Mass Effect. The latter I have few complaints with. Dragon Age, on the other hand, just doesn't have a lot of possibilities that could happen. Especially when you're in Orzammar. If it were possible, I would of talked Branka and Caridin to use the Anvil together in an ethical manner and then create two crowns for the contenders. Harrowmount would become the inspirational king and sharing a great deal of power on social, economic, and Anvil matters with his newly appointed vizier, Bhelen. Under their joint rule, the Chantry and Circle would've peacefully integrated together in Orzammer as Dwarfish allies and beacons of hope in a slowly equalized and prosperous city. Only to bring the next war to them. I know it's far fetched and it goes against the severe "needs of the many" attitude, but I can't really be the only one who wants to give Orzammar a happy ending, now, can I?--Mike Gilbert 02:11, July 17, 2014 (UTC)

Personally I would love to go back to Orzammar. I loved how Orzammar was done in Origins and would love to see a larger, more detailed dwarven city. Even an Orzammar organized into more distinct districts more like Kirkwall for DA:2. The best reason I can think to go back to the dwarven capital, however, is that I think it would one of the few truly neutral places in Thedas during a war between the Templars and mages. Afterall, barring some specific choices in DA:O, Orzammar has no Chantry, dwarves have no magic and most of all, presumably have little experience with the Fade. How would Orzammar handle a fade rift opening up in the middle of the city? I like Redcliff well enough, but I think it's somewhat of a missed opportunity to go back there rather than some of the other locations from the previous Dragon Age titles. --Dbiznaz (talk) 20:50, June 16, 2014 (UTC)

I was gonna say Redcliffe, but now that you mention it I'd love to go back to Orzammar myself. Bhelen/Harrowmont was one of the toughest choices I've had to make in video games (except Skyrim Civil War, but I won't be opening THAT can of worms again), and I'd really like to see how that choice actually plays out, not some vague epilogue slide, plus the modifier in the form of the Anvil of the Void. The dwarves may have their disposition influenced by what may have happened to Brother Burkel and/or Dagna. And of course, seeing it in more glorious detail would be great, especially if there's a route to Kal'Hirol (which we can't traverse due to developer resources) and if any other thaigs are reclaimed and settled. i would love to see soldiers peak again be able to claim it for the inquisition i'd also like to see more of Denerim maybe some more of the kocari wilds WardenMaster (talk) 02:42, June 17, 2014 (UTC)

ORZAMMAR or any dwarven thaig (and Par Vollen or Seheron)!! I want to know what are the dwarves doing because so far the didn't really mention what dwarves and qunari are doing during DAI or pre-DAI.--Iddawiki (talk) 07:15, June 17, 2014 (UTC)

Although we never really explored it, I want to see Highever, damn I wanna see Fergus. Otherwise, I'd love to re-see a desolate Lothering or even the Kocari Wilds. Lazare326 20:02, June 17, 2014 (UTC)

I thought some people went back and attempted to rebuild it, according to Hawke's family? So it wouldn't be desolate. Thanks for mentioning Highever, I keep forgetting in topics like this despite playing as a Human Noble. RShepard227 (talk) 01:54, June 18, 2014 (UTC)
There is a letter from Elder Miriam to Leandra that Hawke receives in DA2. It mentions that Lothering is uninhabitable due to taint, and that she has moved to Redcliffe.--Darkly Tranquil (talk) 11:11, June 18, 2014 (UTC)
Did they? I didn't know that. I thought that the taint assured that the area would be difficult to rebuild. It'd be nice to see it as a ghost village. Lazare326 10:36, June 18, 2014 (UTC)

i would like to see denerim again but i doubt i will be in the game soooo i guess orzammar with this new wngine might look awesome! or the brecilian forest :DFaye_Cousland (talk) 13:09, June 18, 2014 (UTC)

Yeah seeing Denerim again would be nice see other parts of it. I'd also like to see some dalish camps in the bercillian forest WardenMaster (talk) 17:24, June 18, 2014 (UTC)

well, we got Dales, so I think it much more "original" place for dalish camps than the brecillian forrest, except you wanna see some werewolves camp, then there is the place for you.--Iddawiki (talk) 18:31, June 18, 2014 (UTC)

Highever, for many reasons. 1. We never got to see the city or even most of the castle in full splendor. 2. Provides an interesting setting for multiple storylines. 3. Provides a safe base to rest for the party. 4. Provides a rational basis to bring back Fergus and include him in the storyline. 5. Provides a rational basis to present Anora again, who will be appearing in DA:I regardless. 6. Provides this setting for both Fergus and Anora to discuss the human noble Origins character, but especially a male who married Anora. 6. Rational location to launch from to get to other locations in Thedas. This would be a much better location to visit than Redcliff, which is out of the way. I'm not knocking Redcliff though. It will be interesting to see how they have changed Redcliff depending on what choices were made with it in Origins. Believe it! (talk) 19:00, June 18, 2014 (UTC)

Other than the Fade or Deep Roads & Orzammar by extension i don't care for revisiting old locations, i want new locations for more (older)lore.. Redcliffe is a waste of space to be completely frank, especially when it's busting up another demon rally at Redcliffe(been there done tht)unless I get to kill the (desire?)demon i let possess Connor during my bloodmage playthrough. Also another reason for my not caring for a revisitation of redcliffe is tht there are loads of other places we could have gone besides fking Redcliffe(!!!) and i am still recovering from the lack of Tervinter's Minrathous in this installment which makes waaay more since as we're Traipsing about Orlais. It's not right to leave the Emperium out unless in DA:4(for now) we're going to be deeply involved in and northern thedas.. don't get me wrong.. I love me some Ferelden but damn do i want to go where the Major history is and enjoy a nice long cameo with Flemeth preaching the word of what the Ancient days were like and First Blight, and hoopefully what the hell happened to her. I want to know more of Antiva and what they know of her as well.. off topic i know: cassandra should be willing to share some insight on Flemeth ya think? the Seekers of Truth "know she is more than just a legend". but yea.. back on: forgive the willful ignorance but F**K Redcliffe, Andrastes ashes, and all who oppose the Emporium(n those that lied and said it would be in DA:I) xD Tyris Xo'Dagon (talk) 17:28, June 18, 2014 (UTC)

Where was it ever said that the Imperium would not be in Inquisition? and redcliffe is a great place to have a base it's very defendable since it has only been conquered a handful of times in the past WardenMaster (talk) 04:05, June 19, 2014 (UTC)

it's not on the wiki for starters, where locations are already confirmed and secondly, if the Emperium were included in this installment it'd be showcased en masse... let alone Minrathous hasn't been sacked once; so what about redcliffe in comparison to the heart of the Emperium or any province/location of Tervinter for that matter.. i think redcliffe is trashy old news rehashed or not, oh well. it's in the game and i'm not gripin'; jus' going to make sure it's destroyed in my playthrough since i should be able to let it happen if not help it on the way to ruin. I'm all for where the action is non stop and raw: Deep Roads & Tervinter. Not some ole boring trade & military hotspot Tyris Xo'Dagon (talk) 16:14, July 1, 2014 (UTC)

Your preconceptions of Redcliffe are rather strong it seems. As for going to the 'Tevinter Imperium', it'd be hard to include the Imperium in a game that's spanning two nations with Orlais being one of the largest nations in Thedas. If you think Redcliffe is trashy, the new engine and the play through has done it wonders! But again, they're almost certainly going to save the Imperium for a future instalment, if they make one that is. Lazare326 09:44, July 2, 2014 (UTC)

I would love to visit Vigil's Keep again and see it as the command center of the grey wardens in Ferelden and see what changed since the Warden Commander invested to upgrade the walls of the keep thus saved the Keep from darkspawn. Roach22 (talk) 12:15, July 2, 2014 (UTC)

I would love to revisit Kirkwall. I know we have all had enough of that gross, brown city...but I want to know what happened to it, and to the people living there. I would also like to know what happened to all of the DA2 companions, and to my hawke. Visiting Kirkwall might explain some of that. Danthehumanmage (talk) 16:41, July 2, 2014 (UTC)

It isnt a preconception, if ive already experienced redcliffe as a location but it doesnt help that again, im going to be fighting demons and traversing the fade in fkng redcliffe. I simply dont care for it, get over it.. i love origins for all it had to offer, so it doesnt matter how "done up" its(redcliffe) been, we coud've went some where else to deal with a veil tear & fight Alexius' group. Unless of course hes attempting to claim it for the Imperium but thats awhole other matter.. i also did note that Tevinter may be in the next installment, as is logical but its simply the location i want to visit as i had already stated where I'd go back to, albeit in retrospect ill add Soldier's Peak to my list & shout outs to Kirkwall .Tyris Xo'Dagon (talk) 1:16, July 16, 2014 (UTC)

Val Royeaux. I so hope you can visit Orlais' capital. DAI needs at least one large town, and we've already visited Denerim and Kirkwall. --Andauril (talk) 09:49, July 16, 2014 (UTC)
