That would depend on how you define bad. You did deprive yourself of the best healer in the game, of her very short personal quest, and most probably of the opportunity to have the mages instead of the templars fight for you in the final battle as well (since if you killed Wynne it probably means you're purging the tower). But none of that is absolutely essential to finish the game. -Vim- 12:50, March 18, 2010 (UTC)

Ummm.... you *do* realize that rouge is face makeup, right? Rogue is the name of the character type.  ; ) Patch61 01:22, March 19, 2010 (UTC)

First playthrough, I couldn't have survived without Wynne. Second playthrough, I made Morrigan a Spirit Healer so that she could take Wynne's place while doing double-duty as a DPS mage, and that worked out fine. Third playthrough I just carried a lot of health poultices everywhere and that worked fine, too. So, no, Wynne is useful but not essential.DarkAger 02:11, March 19, 2010 (UTC)

It is far from bad. I healed all game (on hard) with my mage speccing only Group Heal (only healing spell I had). Take some Crowd Control spells (with Morrigan if your main isnt a mage), make some healing pots and you are good to go.

Or just become healer yourself + get wynne + spec morrigan as healer + get a lot of potions and heal everyone to death! cha! Rencol 00:17, March 20, 2010 (UTC)

Unless you're a first timer or you want Morrigan to be exclusively a damage dealer (and you're not a mage yourself), no. After my second playthrough (I'm now roughly in the billions, I think), I've basically coerced Wynne into attacking me when I step foot in the tower every time I play. She's redundant to me, as a spirit healer mage, she nags too much and frankly, I don't care for her one bit. And not just because my PC found her questions about her and Alistair way out of bounds. I think everyone of us had his/her own deal of "wynne" in school or/and at home. No need to suffer it again in game. (althought her discussions with Oghren are hilarious) Rencol 11:00, March 20, 2010 (UTC)

Aw. I love Wynne. I always recruit her even when I don't need her, because I like her conversation. Vavasor 20:55, March 20, 2010 (UTC)

I like Wynne too.  :) And for those who don't like her lecture regarding your romance, she -does- apologize to you later once you get your love interest's approval up to love. -Vim- 21:01, March 20, 2010 (UTC)
